the dedication to post his rhetoric? the amount of posts that aren't even dialogues, but just his "facts" one after the other? (discussion is the point of message boards, no? this guy is not even discussing... what fun is that?)

that coupled with the fact that he has many haters on here and gets angry reactions daily just makes me consider the 'troll' angle more...

I think there's also the snake oil aspect of being a conspiracy theorist. These people truly believe they are through the looking glass and are in on knowledge the "sheeple" cannot comprehend or understand. Dopps has all the hallmarks of being someone drinking that snake oil.

Those people have very fragile minds. Which is funny when you take into account that they believe they're superior to everyone else...

And yes, as you said, these people like to think that they "see clearly". They find themselves so, so smart for seeing "things"(that mainly don't actually exist) that "most people don't see". It's like they take great comfort in that. "I'm smart! look at all these things I see that others don't. Wow and I see a ton of them! Which means I'm VERY smart!"

It's a way for them to pat themselves on the back, basically.

Fun fact - "Snake Oil" was actually an effective pain remedy in Asia, and was brought over to the US by railroad laborers. The thing is, it's a specific water snake in China that was used in their traditional remedies. Since there was a lack of chinese water snakes in the US, "real" snake oil was made out of local snakes, like rattlesnakes, that had far lower quantities of the active ingredients that made chinese snake oil work.

Also, many times it straight up wasn't snake oil, but mineral oil and a tiny amount of beef fat.

the last paragraph is one of the best parts about him. he calls people sheep but he hasn't had an original thought of his own in years - everything he posts is a conservative cartoon drawn by somebody else or a conservative video shot by somebody else. all someone else's ideas. he's completely just following who he's told to follow and believing what he's told to believe. baaaa!
