I don't have a problem with that, but doubt it'll happen anytime soon.........Liberals usually study thing to death, and then shelve the study for "further consultations with Canadians", and then resurrect the issue when it served them politically, as they did in 2015.

IMO one of the biggest problems is that over time in democracies there tends to be an amalgamation of all the parties into larger entities (in order to try and win, people will sacrifice a few political views for a better chance at winning on the items they align on - such as the conservative parties merging) resulting in a big divide between left and right. Each side inherits a bunch of views and what happens is you have a very polarized and indoctrinated population.

Eventually in the long run the Liberals and NDP will see they are just carving out each other's vote and merge too.

The Aerial shots were not taken at the same time of day.

The Trumps photo was taken at 11:04 AM ET, and the 2009 Obama photo was taken at 11:30 AM ET ............ you can easily find this info, if you wish to, but if you still want to compare apples to oranges (insert Trump joke here) then fine ......... but the interactive photo taken just after 12PM is more representative of the crowd size.

Also BTW, Is it just me, but have been watching the Clinton News Network a bit since Jan. 20th, and have yet to hear anyone working for CNN, on air say "President Trump".

Electoral reform was another "promise" to fool the sheeple, that Tru-D'Oh! never intended on keeping.

That's why he appointed the most inept Minister to oversee it, who basically trashed the committee assigned to research, at great taxpayers expense, when it was presented.......... and they've run out the clock on the issue, as they intended all along, so that it will not happen.

Besides an overwhelming number of Canadians like the current system, as it has served us well for the past 150 years.

I enjoy every Flyers game I watch because I like Hockey and I am a Flyers fan. Certainly their play recently frustrates me like everyone else, and I enjoy games when the play well a lot better. Life is short, and I don't need to smoke anything to find enjoyment in something I like.

It's not so much a democracy thing as it is an electoral system. A multiple run-off style election would allow for people to vote for who they actually want in power, rather than voting against who they don't want.

Dopps, do you understand what perspective is?

Think about an overweight girl taking a picture of herself. Taken head-on, her double chin is clearly visible, and the number of positive tinder swipes will be low. However, is she elevates the camera, her main chin blocks the second one, and the number of tinder swipes increases.

Now, in this case, when taking a picture of the crowd from the lower elevation, you don't see the spacing between people, because of the angle. The metaphorical fat girl's main chin is replaced by the trump voters. When you raise the camera, those chins aren't blocking the gaps anymore, so you see the double chin that is the between people.


Also, if you are calling two pictures taken within 26 minutes of each other at the same angle apples and oranges,wtf do you call a picture taken 2 hours later from a different angle?


And finally, there is hard data from transit services showing fewer people travelled for trumps inauguration than other ones in history.
