Are you referring to the California law passed 2 years ago, that allowed illegal residents of that Sate, who entered the USA illegally, to obtain State issues driver's licenses?
Since that law was passed many studies have agreed that approximately 800,000 illegal immigrants, have obtained valid licenses.
California allows all residents with driver's licenses automatically eligible to vote.
Instead of worrying about sending in a voter registration card, anyone with a license is a voter by default.
So the minimum wage earning menial laborers that do most of the work that other people consider beneath them can have a vote. They're economic participants no matter how you slice it. As long as I can pay less for blackberries at Costco I give zero (frank)s.

If you're okay with millions of people, entering the USA illegally, jumping the queue so to speak, ........ and willing to foot the bill for all the tax payer funded social services that they receive, then what other laws are you willing to not enforce, with commensurate burden of taxes required, then continue coughing up unnecessary taxes?
All those "occupiers" a few years ago had a lot of free time on their hands, perhaps they could stoop the level of working for a living, and earning the minimum wage as menial labourers, and get off of welfare and other social programs and out of their mother basements............... why should your taxes be increased to allow them to spend weeks protesting whatever George Soros is upset about now???
Those blackberries are not as cheap as you would have us believe. Illegal immigration, in 2013 cost U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. The bulk of the costs, $84 billion, were absorbed by state and local governments, but don't take my word for it, look it up for yourself.

As a Canadian, I like that I can buy cheap produce and have the americans absorb the extra costs. God bless the free market.

Man, just paragraph after paragraph of drivel with no substance
If you're not even going to try to make a point, why bother posting?
No country has ever survived with that kind of COMMUNISM!
In other news, it's good to see that Trump thinks financial institutions shouldn't operate in the interest of retiree clients when giving them advice.
Banks are clearly to be trusted. Hell, we should get rid of all that pesky stuff that keeps them from doing the shady poop they did 5 years ago, too.
THEY LEARNED THEIR LESSON! - Feeling Glucky?
They've still been doing it, they just figured out different ways. Even Obama knew that if you completely shut down the financial manipulations the economy would tank in short order.

There is legit criticisms of JT to be made. Mostly involving his campaign lie of electoral reform, but being surprised a politician gave themselves a raise is so naive it's almost cute.
