Nixon.
Lost 1960, won 1968.
If you want one that never won, it was Dewey. Lost to Roosevelt in 44 and then to Truman in 48. - BINGO!
Adlai Stevenson in 52 and 56, as well.
How was FDR allowed to win 4 elections
is there a law against it or is it more of just a guideline/tradition?

assassinating him would only cause more problems and antagonize his fanatics further
he needs to be impeached proper
wiki'd the "Progressive Party" after reading up on past US presidents
also cool is that FDR and Theodore are very very distantly related and FDR's wife was the niece of Theodore
but FDR was a Democrat and Theodore a Republican (moderate)

Ah ok - it was I guess, "frowned upon" for FDR to be elected a third term, with a lot of previous presidents voluntarily stepping down after 2 terms & retiring.
in 1951, the 22nd Amendment was passed

No, an impeachment makes it look like the system is rigged.
Assassination with the assassin caught and punished provides closure, and allows republicans to save face.
Everyone wins.
