Getting rid of "supply management" in Canada would be a great thing for Canadians, so it's about time something was done to lower food prices in Canada, for Canadians.


Getting Canadian Oil to tide water will also benefit all Canadians, as royalties and tax revenues (used to pay for all those social programs progressives love) will rise, once Canadian based Oil companies start to receive the "World Price" for their Oil, instead of the heavily discounted price forced on them by Obama and his ilk.

Yea man. I'm excited for the US to flood Canada with cheap goods so our farmers go bankrupt and we're entirely dependant on trade for our goods.

Born and raised in grain farming, organizations like the Canadian Wheat Board kept a lot of really terrible farmers afloat for a very long time.

These guys held the industry back for decades with their mismanagement of soil and atrocious business practices. Since we entered a more open market, there are a lot fewer small farmers and a lot fewer government subsidies at all level, because the guys that are left don't need it.

The larger farms also provide more jobs for more people rather than just having thousands of little 1000 acre farms.

The dairy industry in this country is a leech.
