I started as a bus boy, but helped cook later on.

It was great. Business would really slow down in the afternoon. The dishwasher guy sold weed. The main cook was a big white guy who would only date black women. On the off chance a black woman walked in, he'd always poke his head around to check her out.

So much of his testimony has already been known. I think people hoping for a smoking gun are gonna be disappointed. But it speaks volumes that the US has normalized some incredibly A) incompetent B) grossly criminal or C) both, behavior.

Comey presented facts and presented himself as a credible witness. Its basically impossible for the white house to reasonably refute Comey's claims as fake or untrue. They and the GOP have already started to position it as a difference of perception about what Trump asked and how it wasn't significant enough to be considered obstruction.

impeachment just ain't gonna happen at this point, too partisan of a climate, too much at stake, so the GOP goes along with this and normalizes it.

Realistically, the Dems will kill the 2018 elections, and if the russia investigation doesn't kill trump completely, they'll be two years out from running against the lamest duck president ever. No real strategic reason to impeach at that point. Unless of course there is major evidence of collusion that is released via Mueller.

Actually, even if they win the senate and house, it'd probably be better to deal with a lame duck Pence than a lame duck Trump. At least Pence, as vile as he is, can pass off as presidential, and not make the country look like a laughing stock.

congress will be up for grabs. if people are unhappy, there will likely be change there. but i wouldn't underestimate trump supporters who think trump is being given a raw deal by established politicians.

I don't see any real separation between the media and political parties – on both sides of the aisle.

So people correctly see the political party and media as one and the same imo; but usually only see the other side of the aisle as such.

Trump has amplified the whole thing with his aggressive attacks.
