I think I've had the longest ban ever implemented.

1 year for saying James Reimer is the next Martin Brodeur.

it isn't right now that's for sure... I don't think we should drop slick willie and the backup band just yet. I'd like to see if there is any fire in the belly of the team to right this ship.

What does JV Need to do to earn more ice? Score? Bang and crash? Good in his own zone?

Pretty hard to do those things playing 8-10min a game.

I think many of us agree that that kind of hit needs to stop.

The problem is that you need a rule that can be objectively enforced. Think of how many hits are "blindside". If you leave it up to the refs to decide which ones shouldn't be allowed, I think you open yourself up to even more complaints about inconsistency.

I'm curious where Canuck fans sit these days. Do you actually think your team is good enough to make the playoffs or is that just what your GM thinks? You must be scared knowing that this guy is probably going to be around for the inevitable rebuild in a couple years... Looks kinda bleak.
