Changing the coach won't accomplish a dam thing. No one is going to coach this team back to the playoffs. It's an absolute tire fire mix match of crap. Keep the coach and continue gutting the team. A complete rebuild is the only answer. Once you have that then you can focus on coaching - Bullfrog77

The NHL has rescinded one of two game misconduct penalties issued to Ryan Miller on Saturday and he won't be suspended.
(2/2) Two game misconducts in one game is a minimum two-game suspension (Rule 403b). #Canucks - LeftCoaster
Wait...they were going to suspend him for trying to defend his teammate? No wonder nobody on our team defends one another. |

it's at the point where it doesn't matter. the crowds have figured out that this team cannot compete. even if they go all out to win now, they'll be mediocre/bad and the fans will still stay away.
hansen is the only one with real value that is tradeable (aside from those that should be part of the rebuild.) if benning isn't gauging his trade value (or at least open to trading him), this team is entirely lost. - RealityChecker
Tanev is our most valuable trade asset. NYI could now become a trade partner as hamonic is out 4-6 weeks. Barzal+? |

Trade the twins there too and pay half their salaries, take back the Grabo contract and the Kulemin contract, that's what they should be doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

For their age the twins are still good. I think they are at the heart of the issue though. It reminds me of when Jerome and Kipper were still in Calgary in the years after their run to the final.. management felt they still had a chance with those two players and traded away or squandered young players and picks in a last ditch attempt to make the playoffs one. more. time. |

Yes....and I'd throw in demko and juolevi too. Those pieces have something in common...young drafted potential. Not old busted unreached potential. Aqualoonie has to see his cash cow is starving to death. Do the right thing. Instill some hope in you're fan base some pride in the jersey....get the (frank) off you're hands and let the rebuild begin Now! Before you completely kill off the fans of this team once and for all |

The season is getting very close to lost. We should use it to develop young players for the future. |

I'd rather Barzal over colle at this point as he looks like he is 1c worthy when he develops. Don't know much about Beauvillier. |

Trade Tanev, play Stetcher with Edler as much of the season as you can. Larsen has 4 assists and could gain value by TDL if we play him. He is better than some teams pp2 options for a PMD. Not many teams but there are some out there. Could get us our pick back(with another teams name on it) by then if he can manage 5+ goals and 25+ pts. I think he could do it with enough PP1 time. Teach Stetcher on PP2 to start before throwing him into the fire with PP1 on the regular. |

1) Barzel
2) Beauvillier
3) Dal Colle
People don't like Dal Colle because they say he can only produce on really stacked teams. But he is doing well in the AHL.
And here's to Think the islanders got Barzel and Beauvillier for Griffin Reinhart.
That Trade |

As long as Larsen doesn't reach his production thresholds I'll feel better.
I don't know what those thresholds are though.
