Did you notice what that leaf avatar is holding.
It's hardly flattering towards the leafs.

Nice summary but, "Alex Burrows caught Rielly with his stick". Caught...
Speared. Like the coward he is. Love how tough guy Burrows first went after Kessel as a Leaf, now Rielly haha. How do Canucks fans stand that piece of poop on their team.
And come back with Kadri is a coward. At least he's tough enough to stand up for himself against bigger customers. |

Yeah Kadri's never had intent to injure
He never had intent when he cross-checked glendenning in the face because he lost a puck battle.
He never had intent with a blindside elbow to the head of Matt Fraser
He never had intent with an elbow to the head of backstrom because couldn't score on him
Kadri is just miss-understood. - classic321

Canucks fans are very self pitying. I feel my 4 year old daughter might be a Nucks fan with her "it's not fair, I never get to drink pop, the whole world is against me" rants. - walshyleafsfan
This guy always proclaiming his innocence and that he's here to talk hockey, then he runs over with glorious posts like this one.

Hahah keep defending him
It's pretty embarrassing when you guys try to justify those cheap shots which led to suspensions.

I have found it really hard watching the Canucks this year. It has been like watching paint dry. If they were winning it would be less painful but they are not.
Last night was the first game I have really enjoyed all year.
The Ottawa game when Canucks lost 1-0 and Sedins were playing keep away for the last 15 seconds was beyond annoying.
Last night was the first time the team bonded and goals were scored by paying the price in front.
It was a cheap stupid shot by Kadri but not the first time it has happened. Loved that Hansen and Miller jumped in. It's about time this team grew a pair of balls - VANTEL
I dont see what all the butthurt is about. This is what draft and develop looks like. Most people in here ask for it all the time BUT ITS EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE GETTING. It doesn't happen overnight. This year's draft class is weak. Hansen is one of the few vets with trade value and has a full NTC. As does Edler. This is not directed at Vantel, but this board is a full of whiny female doges. Your collective brains can't seem to grasp this is a business first and there is no quick fix, regardless of how much money ownership spends or doesnt.

I said long ago most don't have the patience for a rebuild. The first step is accepting your team isn't good and needs one, it seems like everyone is finally getting there. |

It's an absolutely fantastic thread to be in. I spend most of my time there. Mainly because they sound exactly like Leafs fans did under Burke/JFJ/Nonis, there's more Leafs talk there than anywhere else I've found on this site, they absolutely despise Toronto and the Leafs to the point where nothing makes sense anymore it's just Spatso-like statements, and it's so easy to get them tied up in knots.
Their opinions change like the wind, they're so Pro-Benning it's awesome to see and the kicker for me, I genuinely think the IQ level is alot lower there than here, so I get to win more arguments.

I'm fine right now.
There's no self-pity, I cheer for the cubs and dolphins. Losing is nothing new.
It's amazing that you spend so much time here considering you said earlier Canucks fans made HB unbearable. |

Tanev is our most valuable trade asset. NYI could now become a trade partner as hamonic is out 4-6 weeks. Barzal+? - Retinalz
True. Hansen is valuable as well but there is no bloody way we can trade Hansen now he's our bloody best player.
I was one of the few that lobbied for a Tanev trade after his big praise from the WHC. It makes sense for the team. He's soft and fragile and long term as good as he is defensively he is only gonna play about 45 games/yr. People see to forget the WHC is primarily a no-hit tourney where Tanev could really shine…now that he's crashing and banged around in the west is it really beneficial for the team to keep him here long term? |
