The not having more QB options isn't really his fault. Buddy Nix drafted EJ...he wasn't the right pick.

In 2013 instead of taking EJ take Dandre Hopkins and in 2014 take Carr

The EJ pick killed them

Our O line may be bottom 5 for pass protection

He has said all along that he was on board with the EJ pick. Also, he has been GM of the team since Nix left. It is what it his - he is overseeing a team that has mediocre QB play.

On a semi-related note, this is why the "we gotta make the playoffs because the drought is far too long" is soooooo misguided. We are nowhere near being a championship team - isn't that what we want? I couldn't care less if we sneak in this year with this mediocre team and organization. This team is not unlike the Sabres teams from 5 years ago.
