For me I wouldn't care what the NHL said or did. I know I would have Mackenzie Stewart up for the Dec 3 game and either Marner or Nylander would be out for 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist from an accidental slash.I don't know if suspensions carry over to the ECHL or whatever league he plays in.

Short lived

People can argue over this until they are blue in the face over where principal point of contact is. Most say head, some say shoulder, regardless the decision has been made and its final. I take more offense to the rule itself more than anything. IF player safety views this as a shoulder hit than no suspension would be warranted. I think the biggest thing is, is that no matter how you view the hit, nobody wants to see those hits repeated in the NHL, regardless of if it's within the rules. Even if it was a Canucks player hitting a leaf player in the same fashion, that is not exactly a hit I would want to say on a nightly basis in the NHL.

I've been saying that I would love to see all the Canadian teams in the playoffs, Montreal and ottawa, Edmonton and calgary, Winnipeg and Vancouver!the sedins have been class,miller's a great guy and teammate!
