never seen that 1 before. omg.
Much more talent for getting loaded and smoking crack than sports.

Looks like he was loaded while playing sports there.

Jarvis as Interim, him and Benning have a good relationship. I like Maclean the WALRUS as an assistant, because he has some serious fire in him when things aren't going well and angry walruses are scary as hell.

Krueger if he came over would be my top choice... I thought he did alright in Edmonton before the Eakins tirefire.

Considering our team may actually get no more than 65pts if this kind of play keeps up. I would be fine with WD if he severally loosened his leash on the kids and let them try to figure out their play style in this league better. Keep them accountable to being defensively responsible with punishments if they are unwilling to back check/lazy in their own end. But let them figure out their offense, no matter what happens. What he is doing not isn't and likely will not work, throw the dice and see what happens.

i wish you weren't right, oh wait I'm actually all for this team getting a top-5 pick so I'm glad you're right

if only there was someone qualified to make that determination.

Wow, we're really bad at this whole hockey thing.

As soon as I saw Hansen fighting, I assumed he would break his hand again.

I'm more interested on how the book makers came up with that number, especially if it comes to fruition?

Kudos. The sooner we accept that the team is going to live in the basement for awhile, the easier it is to enjoy. It's also a lot easier to take all the incoming fire from the fanbases that hate us so much for SCHOOLING their teams for a decade. There is a lot of bitter people out there

holy crap! What an unmitigated disaster this franchise has become. I don't think it would be so bad if Benning and Linden would just admit to a full rebuild instead of trying to sell "we think we are a playoff team" to the fans.

For the most part, Canucks Fans have a high enough of a hockey IQ to see this team is not a playoff team. The brand of hockey that they are playing right now is just painful to watch. We want to see the youth play not the scratching of Virtanen and Stetcher because Willie is trying to save his job.

Now that I've got that outta my system, I saw a proposed slogan on twitter for our tank campaign (you know like: "the Fall for Hall or "the Fail for Nail"):

If Willie D is our coach for the whole year, this will be how Canucks fans will take it:

Wow --- if you ever needed to see how TSN has lost being a national network and only a regional one you only need to look at the "TSN BUBBLE" they have created around the Leafs. You would think they won their 6th cup in a row at how TSN expounded the virtues of playing a Western Team on their 3rd game in 4 nights. This is not to give the Leafs full credit for the win but TSN needs to turn it down a notch as they have more in common with Fox News and creating their own narrative than Sportsnet and actual sports.

Twice today, 48 hours after the fact, TSN ran stories that were highly inflammatory to Vancouver and their fans:

1. Bob MacKenzie tells us how all Vancouver fans are wearing Tin Foil hats and are highly paranoid about Kardi not being suspended. Fine... Hey Bob, that is news (to us!) but your delivery was highly one sided and simply unprofessional.

2. A story from Kadri himself saying how he is not at all sorry for the hit. Well, again --- that is fine... you do not need to be sorry. Just as no one else needs to think that this is news that needs to be shared.

TSN BUBBLE... when do they lose the Winnipeg and Toronto Regional Broadcasts anyway? Can't be too soon.

I'm convinced Loui Eriksson is getting slower.

Why Benning would give so much money to a guy who doesn't drive offense is beyond me.

I am not sure that I like the new NHL 17. What is this penalty anyways... "2 minutes for Illegal use of emotions"? Not that there is anything wrong with that but they say he is banging the crease, I thought it meant going hard to the net.

I would not say yes to Nolan but I would not say no to Willie falling on his sword for this mess. Not totally his fault but something has to give.

That is correct. But this team could play a lot better, he just doesn't know how to do it. Proper line deployments would help. DD not playing most of the last 2 mins of a game we are down by 1 would help.

I think most here want Canucks to pick a side. Vegas Don and myself were the ones saying push for the playoffs.

I think13 games in we all know where they are heading. I think Benning needs to accept his losses and figure a way to move assets of expiring contracts and boat anchors

It was obvious to most, although I even said if they play well defensively they'll keep game close, which they've done, but it's painfully obvious they need to rebuild and go with a youth movement.

The Eriksson signing is looking more and more like such an albatross deal, egg once again on Bennings face....God I hate this franchise right now. I wish I was born in Winnipeg ........................

That's good, but seriously no matter what all the arm chair Coaches, GM's Presidents harp on about, this team doesn't have the talent.
Do you guys really believe that every hockey analyst that is employed to analyze every team in the NHL just uses a crystal ball to determine Vancouver's abilities.

I can just see all the analyst sitting around saying you know guys if Willie is the coach Vancouver will suck and come in last, but wholly (frank) if Jarvis is the coach well this team is playoff stock, and who knows maybe Stanley Cup contenders, seriously .

I can understand the disillusionment with WD but there's a reason why all the paid hockey experts chose Vancouver as last or close to last, and it wasn't because of the present or future coach.
