I hoped we would be competitive. I for sure expected more out of Eriksson. I still don't think that we're the worst team in the league but we are definitely in the conversation.

I can't understand how you guys thought that. I tried to tell you before the season started, and got mocked. Your team was second worst in goals scored last season, second worst in shots allowed, and near the bottom in goals allowed. You're 3 best players are on the doorstep to retirement, 36 years old, and will be in steep decline for the next couple of seasons. There wasn't a single player on the team last year under the age of 35 to score a mere 40 points.

The Canucks roster is a total disaster. It's approaching the level of garbage of the Buffalo Sabres, when they traded off anyone that played well enough to possibly pull them out of last place, in a bid to try to get McDavid.

But, don't worry about it. It's the best thing that could happen to you guys. Way better than trying to scrape along and snag 8th place for years. This should pretty definitively tell Canucks management, there are no bandaids that will stop the hemorhaging.

I don't even care about baseball all that much, but when the fans from another city who have never won a damn things themselves get arrogant and rip into the Leafs, as far as I'm concerned, they can get their own baseball, basketball, whatever team.

There is nothing wrong with Linden as President...it's the on-ice product which he doesn't technically control. We just don't have the right tools in place to be competitive. Credit Benning for trying and changing the faces of the team, but we have so many gaps to fill it's sick. Not that this is all a bad thing maybe it will finally get the aqua-feenies on board for a full teardown and rebuild that should have happened after the 2012 playoff pounding.

I said before seasons start if healthy this is an 85+ point team at best.

We are not healthy and aren't going to be anytime soon. We have a team full of soft fragile players that won't ever play 82 game full schedules. Tough to put a good product on the ice when 80% of your players don't get to the 55 game mark.

Not healthy we are a bottom 10 club there is positively no getting around it until big changes come.
