If we are that bad, and we haven't seen much to indicate otherwise, what can we expect from any change in the coaching staff or players.

If there isn't much to be done, ride it out.

I'd still like to see JV sent to Utica and keep bringing up guys from there or take a chance on a waiver wire player. I can't see the fortunes of the big club getting any better this season, but it might be better for JV's development.

It's still early but at some point you have to play all the roster players heavy minutes and see who you want to stay and who may have to go ...possibly showcasing players for the deadline

I can't understand how you guys thought that. I tried to tell you before the season started, and got mocked. Your team was second worst in goals scored last season, second worst in shots allowed, and near the bottom in goals allowed. You're 3 best players are on the doorstep to retirement, 36 years old, and will be in steep decline for the next couple of seasons. There wasn't a single player on the team last year under the age of 35 to score a mere 40 points.

The Canucks roster is a total disaster. It's approaching the level of garbage of the Buffalo Sabres, when they traded off anyone that played well enough to possibly pull them out of last place, in a bid to try to get McDavid.

But, don't worry about it. It's the best thing that could happen to you guys. Way better than trying to scrape along and snag 8th place for years. This should pretty definitively tell Canucks management, there are no bandaids that will stop the hemorhaging.

I've literally said several times, what is happening right now, is the best thing for you. If this eliminates your management from entertaining any ideas of desperately trying to scrape into the playoffs for the next several years, and forces them to rebuild, it could fast-forward that process YEARS.

I would like to see stability in our coaching staff while this team goes through it's rebuilding process. That's why I can't believe they hired a rookie coach to lead this change. Not to mention a rookie GM and Prez.

To me these moves suggest an owner who wants keep control and have some influence. That's OK, it's his toy. But it has been shown in the past that it's not a sound business plan for a pro sports team.

Frankly, I haven't see you post in a long time, but I ignored you back then and I ignore your posts now, so if that makes you feel any better, my post was in no way directed towards you, so now you can sleep easy.
