so dozzer (maple leaf mod) complained to me about my flagging posts in the canucks forum.
What the frak. Invasion of trolls from toronto and the toronto mod is complaining to me about my flagging posts of his precious pearls. Wow. - ebonyswan

"I just tried to go low with my hit, and the league thought the same way”
-- Kadri
God I hope someone cheap shots this guy - classic321
that quote is pretty funny. Literally the picture they posted of this hit has him on the tip of his blades and he actually gets air afterwards, thus the charging call on the ice. Trying to go low...

Not suspendable doesn't mean clean. He got a 5 min major for it. It was blind side and a charge.... that's not clean at all and no one officially said that.

I also deleted a pile of your flagged posts, that was from 2 days ago, posters were dealt with, I know you may be catching up but again you are 2 days too late.
BTW, if it wasn't for Dozzer there wouldn't have been any banned leaf trolls, he hit both sides equally.
The league has determined that it was a clean hit, regardless of whether we agree or not, the best course of action for the canucks is to hit Kardi the exact same way. Don't bother with getting a stick in there but literally separate the player from the puck, over and over. - Makita
Maybe they should take a page out of the book of that other Maple Laff hero Domi and just give him the forearm treatment. Separate the head from the body. Department of player safety my a$$. I seem to remember them yapping about Virtanens "blindside" hit. WTF . Useless idiots.

Are you accusing dozzer of being biased???
imo - he's a decent ref. - magmoo
Every ban that Dozzer has given me was probably justified. In some cases prematurely, but those were more pre-emptive strikes. The ban would have happened anyway.
Saying that, it pisses me off every time he does it because the majority of leafers are engaging. You have no excuse to female dog if you engage a troll. If nobody's engaging who is he trolling? He'll move on and find another hole to fish.
It is happening more and more lately... it reminds me of Luongo lunging in desperation, ending up on his belly and the puck in the net.
Is Henrik injured already? - hillbillydeluxe
Honestly when a professional athlete has back problems show up later in their career they tend to never go away. I think of Roger Federer in tennis and when he stopped dominating the sport was when he started to have a sore back. Even when he rested it and came back there was just a little missing and he's never been the same player.
I don't know how many times i've seen Loui bail along the boards, when tied up with another player trying to gain the zone, or just slipping around. - dbot
These are the kind of things we wouldn't be worried about if he could put a puck in the effing net

As Booner pointed out it was a poor choice by me to refer to the hit as clean, there was a 5min penalty and game assessed. I would love to see Kardi hit hard and clean, over and over, no charging, no blindside, no forearm shiver.

This is where I'm confused about trolling...
What is the difference between trolling on here and the ribbing we all got from our friends over the years? Sometimes your best friends can be the most relentless.
On here it's an anonymous hockey web site for christ sake. I have battled for years with a few guys on here right now. So what? Soon as I log off it ends. And when I log back on it's a new session with no animosity.

that is a great find. Absolutely nothing wrong with Doughty's hit there IMO - Codes1087
Agreed, I like how Doughty turns to hit with his body (or maybe tried for his right shoulder) as opposed to the leading left, which Kadri did. Makes it safer for everyone
Doughty delivers this hit quite often. I remember he did the same hit on Datsyuk which resulted in Datsyuk's helmet going flying. The different (IMO) from how Doughty hits in the East/West direction as opposed to Kadri's hit on Sedin is that Doughty hits more from behind and hits square on the outside shoulder of the forward. Kadri came from behind but drove inside and hit the inside/far shoulder which was completely exposed when Daniel took the wrist shot on follow through. Similar hits, just Kadri went for the shoulder furthest away and Doughty hits closest outside shoulder.

I have warned the Leaf posters yet again not to stir things up in here. I apologize if they have come in and started things up again, they will be dealt with.

If Kadri hit Sedin the same way Reilly hit Hansen, this wouldn't even be a discussion.
