True, but the problem is that 90% of the leafs posters that come in either during a Vancouver trade, or during a leafs/van game tend to insult and not contribute. Maybe just a policy that if any leafs posters try that usual stuff zero tolerance, but good hockey talk is allowed? I remember when leafs won the draft(first thing they have ever truly won since the league expanded beyond 6 teams) I got banned for a post that wasn't insulting or anything. Maybe a little insincere, but not mean in any way, I got a 1 day ban.

We do not ban for posting in the thread, only when it is obvious trolling. Take a look at the different team posters during the day.

Several people have been banned in Leafs thread for the most mundane posts. Seems to be based on the mood of the moderator. If you're a fan of another team you are pretty much guaranteed to get banned in there if you disagree with an opinion of a moderator.

My dad has back and hip issues and I worry I'll end up the same way eventually, guess I'm gonna have to start doing yoga preemptively

I don't remember ever banning someone for disagreeing with me, you can ask the posters. If I did it might have been because the poster was being an ass about it.

Mods have bad days, I know I have but I will apologize in a PM if I had one and treated someone unfairly. I know I make mistakes.

Not weight related, we both have crazy metabolisms, thin guys. But yeah I know about inflammation, I'm dealing with carpal tunnel issues lately, at an age too young to have that kinda stuff.

Of course that would be the first action to take but we also can't be here all the time, some of us have kids or a wife that threatens us with certain bans if we don't get off the mobile devices or computer.

I agree, they got bans for it. I have tried for two days to keep them out, posting warnings and asking them to be respectful.

Given the D injuries and the streak the Canucks are on I wouldnt be surprised if they upped their offer. I just really hope they are better/smarter than making a panic deal to offset their expansion draft numbers
