Not even close to what was said this time around. If Kerry wasn't, well Kerry the democrats might have had a chance, and if it was Bernie this time around, it would be over already. People love Bernie, nobody loves Clinton and even more people hate Trump or so they say anyway. - Wetbandit1

In all honesty, for the City, it would have been best if they sold and relocated to anywhere else. Then Pegula could have worked for an expansion in about 10 years after the city ACTUALLY HAS a Renaissance, instead of the farce they're calling one now.

How is it a farce? - Wetbandit1
New restaurants, coffe shops and a bunch of Buff State idiots working at the Albright Knox does not equal culture.
Cool. Canalside is like, 5% better. Nice. But until they destroy the Skyway, dredge the Scajaqueda and demolish the 33 and restore Humbolt, they aren't even sniffing Renaissance, not even close.

Still not a farce, you can't do everything at once. What you're talking about is going to be over a billion dollars. It's coming along. The 33 is a vital artery. The skyway sucks I'll give you that. And the Scajaquada is going to be worked on next year. In case you meant either the highway or that fetid thing near Forest Lawn. http://buffalonews.com/20...ned-scajaquada-boulevard/http://buffalonews.com/20...-decades-of-degradations/ so...

No, it is a farce. This is nowhere near a rebirth. It's like finally getting the toilet to flush after plunging it for hours. I honestly liked it the way it was before all the scum-bag hipsters and the Pegulas moved in. It had much more identity. Now all you see are clones and robots everywhere. It's like a smaller, pooptier Pittsburgh. And I hate that place.

Whatever. I'd rather have some people than a ghost town. A Saturday night outside a downtown arena and it used to be dark as (frank) and the only people were the ones going to the game.
