Not just all right which is what the discussion was about... - Stripes77
elite qb punches it in on the last drive
he played well though, perhaps his best road game ever |

The numbers were somewhat whacky last night. The Sabres "out Corsied" the Bruins at 5v5. The 8 PPs we gave the Bruins is what sunk us. 3 that were complete bullpoop. The 2 to McCabe were nonsense, and the interference on Marchand by Grant was what exactly? They showed a replay but there was nothing there, then Grant gets slashed on the arm by Beleskey, they fight, Beleskey get his ass handed to him and they just go off and somehow Grant gets 2 for interference, but Beleskey doesn't get a slashing penalty. Whatever. Still have to score goals to win games. Rask stopped the few good chances we got. And Lehner only let in 1 goal 5v5. And only really had one bad play on the goal where he should've caught the puck, but it hit his glove and then Pasternak? scored on the rebound. Just one of those games where all the bounces go for the other team. - Wetbandit1
I missed when this happened last night, and having searched for video, now I know why. This is a GROSS EXAGERATION. They "whiffed with fists" at one another a few times. |

Woods was also interfered with on that pass but he whatever it's Seattle.
All I know is if Taylor plays like that all the time then the Bills are fine at QB. |

Right, I don't know what the officials were doing, but the clock was reset correctly after the spike. Had the Bills shown more urgency and told the official to get the hell out of the way, let's go, it wouldn't have been an issue or the official would've stopped the play then and there. - Hatboro_Swords
lol That's not how it works. They officials (frank)ed up big time. They didn't call the blatant roughing the kicker which would've allowed Carpenter to stay out there. And that's the head of officiating saying that. And then they failed to reset the clock after the spike with the official still standing over the ball even when the play clock was at 0. Should've been reset to 25. Has absolutely nothing to do with urgency.
There he is right in the middle, over the ball, with :00 on the play clock:
That is not correct. That is not a "lack of urgency" that is a royal (frank) up, plain and simple.

You only really need to read the first half. The second half is about the same guy and his role in deflate gate. He's just totally incompetent at his job. He seriously told Rex at the end of the half that he didn't see how it was a roughing the kicker. What a dolt. |

At the end of the game the bills starred really pissing me off not rushing to the line - GERBE!!!75PTS
We've been over this. You don't rush in that situation because if you score a TD the Seahawks only need a FG to win the game, and you've just left them more than enough time to do that. You ideally score with 0 seconds left on the clock. Seattle was still taking TOs there on that last drive. They wanted the Bills to rush. It's a totally different scenario than the Dolphins game. |

First of all, the play clock doesn't get reset to 25 seconds on an incomplete pass, it gets reset to 35 seconds, which it did. That is how it works. |

No he did not. He had a good game. A game that QB's have in this league every week.
He missed Woods wide open for a TD, threw a red-zone INT, took sacks, couldn't win the game when it mattered, how is that elite?
This is a league where Josh McCown and Brian Hoyer are stepping in and throwing for 300 yards (with hurt WR's) - sbroads24
Yes he was elite. He did something no one has done to Seattle in 4 years. And Seattle was at home where they've lost 5 whole games out of the last 36 and only 2 to teams outside their division. They're really, really good at home. The best home team in the NFL. And he went in there and picked them apart for over 70% completion percentage. Int was a miscommunication. Took sacks, really? you're reaching. He also escaped 5 would be sacks. Couldn't win with his guys being held and interfered with. Except wouldn't have had to if the incompetent officials knew their jobs better. For a stats guy you really ignore them when they don't line up with you thinking. |

You're wrong again...the NFL does not use 35 second ever
It's 25 seconds or 40.
Also when the head of the NFL officiating says they screwed up they screwed up plain and simple |

When the officials were huddling it does, which is what they were doing, which is why the official was still standing over the ball to begin with, the Bills were out there with plenty of time. You really don't seem to grasp this do you? The official was still literally standing over the ball with :00 on the play clock. With Carpenter in his stance. But you're right, lack of urgency.
Edit: With that said. I'm out, going to go out and have one last look at the world pre-apocalypse. |
