Not sure if this was discussed yesterday, but this article does a pretty good job of trying to use some 5 on 5 metrics that might possibly explain some of Dave Hakstol's decisions with his forwards:

Only after they put in term limits. Because (frank) no if they don't. He'll never leave office despite the fact he doesn't actually do anything. |

Wrong. The Corsi predicted a Trump victory. |

Corsi = majority/popular vote
Hillary won the Corsi, but her shot quality wasn't as good and she didn't get the one or 2 big saves she needed. |

Not really. He mentioned individual generation, like you are alluding to, but also on-ice based offensive zone scores. It's a weird stat not without validity, but yeah, looking at that in isolation is just wrong.
It's based on expectations too, not just actual performance. So, if a player sucks and always dumps the puck in (which should yield a lower expected total of shots than someone who can skate it in), but manages to generate a few more shots than their meager expectation, then they may be outperforming their expected results but still doing mediocre as a whole. And of course, if a player has a low expected shot total, there is a good chance they are doing crappy in scoring chances and other stuff as well. It's an interesting stat though to isolate play solely to a particular zone. |

Trump won the Fenwick. Hillary just loaded up on CA and NY and IL. She may have shot more, but it was just into metaphorical AMac's legs. Trump knows how to get his shots through better. |

I know...just using some hyperbole, but I do think there could be some Dustin Brown in there. It is also just offensive numbers, but like always sunny charlie said, it could have something to do with why these clowns keep getting played |

I used "eye test" in a meeting today and I'm certain that is some bleed over from sports message board nonsense.
I may slip in the term "Corsi" accidentally/on purpose in a meeting with my boss tomorrow just to mess with him. He likes to micromanage, so it'll drive him nuts that if I mention something in passing he doesn't know about. |

This was a mini rebellion against the elite.
People tired of the status quo of the rich getting richer, and the average persons quality of life going down.
For that. You got balls America. Hell of a job for people to see past the propaganda by the media in favour of Clinton which only a fool would deny. |

Say what you will, but that pretty boy is going to let Canada get dragged through the mud when it comes to standing up to Trump.

Just from a pure curiosity/entertainment standpoint, it'll be interesting to see how 2 guys with so little political history will run these countries(Trudeau only started in like 08 I believe). |

If we elected Trump as a rebellion against the elite than we're a total bunch of (frank)ing idiots. |
