If they play him a lot here ... couldn't he develop ...? The Sedins did.... it's that this team is so talent starved it's nice to see if given a chance he could display his skills. Though that said wonder who else they could bring up for a look....?

JV had a meaningless game it seems didn't show up in any way to dominate with Comets. The team is doing worse then the Canucks believe it or not.... why ... they can't score either. Grenier having a good start so far is he worth a look up here...? Can't see why not over Chaput or Skille.

Stecher will be going back down, they need to keep Biega and Sbisa to get them enough games for the expansion draft. Although if it was me, I'd risk Biega to keep Stecher and Tree in the lineup.

I'm pretty sure most teams scraps could preform better then Van's roster.

I also went and watched the Brandon Wheat Kings play the Red Deer Rebels yesterday.

Ty Lewis wasn't drafted last year. Has almost same amount of points as he did all of last year. Should be a 5th or 6th round pick. Lots of hockey IQ. Positional awareness off the charts.
Nolan Patrick is still injuried, they are being very very careful with him. He may not be back till after christmas.
Stelio Matheos isn't worth a first round pick unless the draft is that weak :thumbs down:
Kale Clague at 51 was probably a steal for Los Angeles.... of course.
Tyler Coulter who attended Van's camp if anyone remembers could be a solid 4th liner in the NHL someday.
Brandon Hagel of Red deer taken 159 last year to Buffalo was the only player on Red Deer even worth looking at.
