I used to give the benefit of the doubt when he hired Linden. Now I dont believe that for a second.

Also FA is no Jim Mara or George Steinbrenner. Jim was football as George was baseball. There is a difference.

We are treading in to Charles Wang territory with FA with all these useless signings.

My argument, of which you completely ignored, relates to the fact that, at his draft position he should be putting up respectable numbers in what-ever league he's playing in, if he fails to do that he should be demoted to another setting that allows him to excel (aka development).

But hey, he skates pretty, puts up a point every 10 games and throws a big hit once every 3 games, should have no problem developing into a great 3/4th liner.

useless signings?? what does that mean ? Loui after a dozen games or so? a little early to abondon the ship i would think, and we have to at least try to ice a competitive team while staying true to the commitment the team has made to the Sedins and vice versa.

Does it matter?

When we picked him 6th overall (ahead of some very notable and already successful NHL players) I was hoping for an offensively gifted and dynamic player.

He has yet to demonstrate that at any level (NHL, AHL, WJC) outside perhaps the WHL.

This team appears to be rewarding his mediocrity while simultaneously punishing him for innoportunity lol
