struggling club with low attendence, low dollar, sounds like it is a definite possibility.

I know Gaglardi I think would have been a better owner than FA. Look what he's let Nill come in an do whatever he thinks is right and run the club. Maybe we don't agree with his 2 goalies currently they're still an exciting team to watch.

Instead we have a potential meddling owner who before owning the Canucks was known as a slum Lord. And once a slum Lord always a slum Lord. He doesn't like the declining revenue and has already developed the land around Rogers arena and made many times his investment.

Their speed has been a problem and they transition well. But they have holes on D. If Canucks follow the D first plan they will eventually get scored on and that means catch up that leaves them open to transition.

Combination of system and now lines are set up doesn't seem to have enough pressure for offensive scoring.

Does it not look like Canucks don't drive or flood the net often enough for fear of being out of position defensively.

This is possible. Many issues at work here. Rebuild in a market that will tune out. Economic downturn in real estate forcast. The value of club may go down sell high. Plus Seattle may be in line to bid high if they can get their rink.

The Canadian economy may falter with what may happen in Divided States pushing to tax trade and tear up agreements.

Plus A family may not have desire to put up with years of criticisms after spending with no limits on this team.

That's the danger new owner could as they won't have any allegence. The NHL may prefer expansion dollars for Seattle so that may insulate such a move. Then again if things deteriorate too much it could be seen like how Coyotes moved around from city to city as a regional transfer as Seattle is close enough and richer market. A lot of unknowns. Why a quicker rebuild may be better for this club.

Most new owners do get involved in their new toy and look to effect changes. Unless it's some corporate purchase that doesn't have a single figure head to influence. But either way no new owner is going to just sit back and not be involved in making any changes to a new purchase. If they are good ones then every one will be happy. But usually these changes are over business and not sacrificing for fans.
