I would argue McDonaugh, Skjei & Holden are all decent transitional Dman. NYR isn't having any issues breaking out fast. All forwards come back hard to support the play & their may be no faster team in the NHL today. Vigneault hasn't been happy with the play & has been cracking the whip hard on Kreider, Vesy & Zibanejad. They will be motivated tonight to play well.

I have watched NYR play a ton this year as their just fun to watch. Not my favorite team nor am I a Vigneault fan but respect his pedigree. I live in BC although spend way more time in Alberta & Texas than at home. I watch a ton of hockey both live Cal, Edm & Dal & on my NHLcenterice package. Gace up my Van tickets this season after more than 25 years.

This game could be a blow out & not in a positive way for Calgary. Here' s hoping they can sneak 1 out against a very strong & superior team.

Don't get me started on Wideman. The only positive for Wideman is he hasn't been part of the blood letting. In the games he has played, he has played well, especially when paired in the top 4 with Giardano & Calgary actually won 3 of them. Doesn't make sense to me & I accept Wideman's faults. I feel his positive's out weigh his negatives.

I have no problem with the flames losing night after night.....

But please for the love of God get some points Brodie. 2 pts in 15 games! Only 19 shots and hardly any pims!

Thx Todd for not putting corsi stats up! Yes the flame have lost I think you said 5 of 6 but I don't think they have played the worst hockey of the year to date. Take away the Kings game and half of the Ducks game, they have played good! Controlled a lot of the play and ran into some good goaltending. The bad is there are stretches in every game where they have played, where they look horrible it's like Dr Jekyll and mr hyde within the same game!! And in my opinion, it's vary un timely brain fart penalties.as well as turnovers between the offensive and defensive ringette lines (which is just in side the blue lines). As well as neutral zone turnovers. Bottom line is stop with the penalties and stop giving the god dame puck away!

I have a feeling the Flames will take this game, but I remember last year when the Rangers were in town Calgary had a 5-2 lead and the Rangers stormed back and Calgary won in overtime. I won a lot of $ that night by betting on the Flames lol.

If he keeps getting the benefit of a doubt, season will be over! This team is better than this, even if it is on the players I still blame the coach. Ultimately it's his lineup decisions weather good or bad that have produced this mess!
