So if GG is in over his head where does that leave BT? or BB for that matter? He made such a big deal of taking so long to get "the best candidate available."
Maybe it took so long because BT couldn't make up his mind.
Could ownership get impatient and tell BB to clean things up regardless of the cost? In other words, take over as interim GM again?

Hamilton trade is clearly not working out. GG= Don Hay. Bottom 6 is still too weak.

I'd be ok flipping Backs to shake up the room and see if Janko can assume 3C duties. Elliott, if still a bust, is gone at the end of the year. If it continues, GG should be also.

Another high draft pick would not be a bad thing. With all the salary coming off the team next year I imagine the team will look different.

Why are so many people shocked at how this season is going? They did nothing to address their main issues from last year and were expecting to be carried by a core of forwards all under the age of 23.

One look at their opening day roster and it was pretty evident this is still a team in the middle of a rebuild and a last place finish was just as likely as a playoff push.

This year they're 20th, tied for 30th and 30th respectively.
At this point they're on track for 300 GA. The last team to have a GA > 300 was Philly in 2006. Not even Edmonton, Buffalo and Arizona have been that bad.

Our team of 23 year olds should have gotten better when we added an 18 year old and a mediocre goalie! And our semi-rookie Coach should be better than our Jack Adams one!!

we got lucky 2 years ago...
look at our line-up. Don't you think we need 1-2 more high end talent via high draft picks to fill in
and wait for the kylington and Andersson to be ready maybe 2-3 years from now?

Bring up T-Spoon, bench Jokipakka and Wideman. Jokipakka looked AWFUL against Dallas(albeit most of the team did as well). I had hopes for top 4 for him but he just looks lost out there and I know he's still young but man oh man.

Ferland should be on the top line, he has been one of few players that are actually playing good hockey. He deserves it. Definitely playing like a top 6 forward

Good to see him show some consistency. Always liked Ferland and his story. Seems like a solid guy who turned his life around. I remember when he punched out the guy at whatever bar he was at.

I don't want to get on the GG hate train but Chiasson is just not the player he was when he played und GG last time. He should be no where near the top 6.
