Do we, and of course Ek, have this Hamilton to MTL for DD thing all wrong? Could it actually be DD for Wideman? There's been talk of MTL looking to add to their D, someone that could eat some more minutes from Weber and Markov. Maybe not ideal but Wideman does usually play more than 20 minutes per game. Plus both he and DD are on their final years of their contracts. CGY needs to try to add a fit to the top 6 and if MTL wants D...?

If a guy like Hamilton gets traded, from MTL I'd want to see the top 4 covered and the top line RW filled. Something like Hamilton for Mccarran and Petry. Maybe we add something else but unless the return is of similar value, why do it from CGY's end?

If the habs are trading my DD it's probably closer to wideman ...but I don't think they should bring in a guy like wideman right now ...if they get an injury maybe

Would love to see those two added on. Might not feel too happy about the price in the UFA market but so be it.

There most certainly is. Buuut the precedent has been set that the Coach can ask the team to waive said days.

Most players have young families though. Might not help the team, but those days are important..



Let's get positive though! We tend to have turning point games against Chicago! Win or lose, maybe we'll see the team turn a corner! Perhaps we can beat Arizona!

Love this idea. Alzner would be a great add. I think he could be had at, or close to, what Wideman makes. There's a bunch of money coming off of the books next season and I think the Flames could/should make a run at Alzner to shore up their top 4.

Oshie would be awesome too, I just don't think it'd ever happen.

I'll be interested to see how Bennett plays with Stajan. Maybe playing wing will allow Bennett to simplify his game, get to the dirty areas and bang in some goals...or it could be a complete disaster

Johnson was awesome again...Hopefully Elliott can follow it up if he starts tomorrow. Need to string a few together and get some confidence back. Hopefully Johnnys hand isnt broke for fack sakes!
