Sammy Watkins did not return to practice Monday, the first time he was eligible to practice after spending the last six weeks on injured reserve. - homiedclown
Rex Ryan says he has yet to discuss with GM Doug Whaley whether Eric Wood will be placed on injured reserve. Wood expressed hope last week that he could return if the Bills make the playoffs.
some part of me wishes for a protest of fans by not attending games...bills or sabres. Not one person. Just to say we can not show up if this product continues. Unfortunately, I also understand that if we don't show up a team can get moved somewhere where tickets would be sold. Its really sad to be honest - gerbe42
I think as fans, we've done our part. Especially at these prices. Back 5 years ago when the games meant something, I thought nothing of the cost. I just thought about the game. Now to pay all that money to sit in a quiet room. If you brought someone from another country to a Sabres game they would be quite perplexed I'm sure.

exactly....the entertainment was what mattered. Now that we have a so-so team you have to weigh the risk-benefit when buying tickets.

It's sad because I have a theory that you don't have to have a championship team in the NHL for it to be fun. 2009-2012 for example. You still have your rivalry games, win streaks, or payback games against a guy we might not like. But this has just gone on too long. Leafs games not selling out, scoring 7 goals in 6 home games. An environment and atmosphere that is just flat our embarrassing. The atmosphere alone is enough to make you want to stop. - Buffalo--Sabres
It may just be me, but there also seem to be less weekend games this year than there were in the past. Most of the games seem to fall on Tues/Thurs. It was easier when I worked a retail job because you didn't necessarily have to worry about being up and functional the next day for work.
I didn't get home from the Ottawa game until about 11:15 and I can't just get in bed and call it a night when I walk in the door. It was easily after midnight when I finally unwound enough to fall asleep. And when you factor in that the entertainment value of the games is pretty poor right now, it makes it a pretty easy decision.

Yeah mix a snow storm in and you're looking at an extra 45 minutes on top of that.
I scheduled my kids ice skating on Tuesdays this fall, only to realize the Sabres seem to play EVERY Tuesday whether home or away.

It's probably just that I'm getting old. But at this point, it's nowhere near a good value to go at all. By the time you factor in the cost of the ticket, on days I work I probably end up having to get something to eat there because I don't have time to cook anything between work and the game, which then requires some sort of beverage, as well as parking. It gets expensive. Just the extras alone end up costing me probably about $17 ($9ish for some sort of dinner, $5 for bottle of water, $3 for parking). And that's doing it on the cheap side. If I got beer it would be $10 instead of $5 and if I parked near the arena instead of up by M&T and taking the train down it would be anywhere from $8.50-20 instead of $3. All that for a sub par product currently.
