No it's not all right but now is not the time to make a panic move like trade away some future or fire a coach

Kane, ROR, Eichel, Okposo, Ennis have all missed time already.

Like I said before they haven't played a full game this season with only missing 1 player out of the top 6. It's been at least 2 every single game.

I think the Sabres should just fold, forfeit the rest of the season and get the #1 pick, which we'd end up picking 4th anyways, because we would lose at that.

Right, so get better depth. Don't plan on going into the postseason completely healthy. It won't happen.

It's the same with the Bills. Don't go into the year with Watkins as your only real threat at WR

Better depth just doesn't happen overnight though, it takes 3-5 drafts to build depth. The ONLY player that was moved that has been somewhat useful to play 3rd and 4th line minutes was your boy Armia. McNabb is the second worst possession player in the league behind Delo (at least he was about a week and a half ago).

This is not taking into account the ROR trade because I would rather have O'Reilly than Grigorenko and Zadorov.

McNabb and Doughty are one of the best CF% pairs in the league I think.

It's not just about what he traded away, either. It's what he didn't bring in. He tried for Vesey and Stamkos which is great, but had no backup plan.

I think for the most part, the core is good. Although my skepticism of Sam Reinhart being a major contributor grows by the game

We are still stuck in the same " hole " we have been stuck in for a few years now. Our D is bad, can't score goals and we have to many 3rd and 4th line players on this team STILL. I have been positive up to this point about this team but they still can't turn the corner and are far from doing that now, I've defended Kane the whole time he has been here but injuries or not, he looks useless out there as is Girgensons. Some can make " excuses " all they want and that's fine that is there opinion but, this team can't score and the D is very weak. Have to start questioning Bylsma as well.

Again how do you know he had no backup plan? Because he didn't sign someone on July 1st? Do you personally know he didn't try? It is very hard to believe that a GM of a professional sports team one who doesn't get too high and too low and has said he wants to get better everyday didn't have a backup plan?

Not giving him a pass for not executing his plan is fine and I would agree, I am just not going to blast him for not having a backup plan.

Just like I have a hard time blasting Disco Dan when he hasn't had his best player and at least one other piece of his top 6.

There is dead weight on the roster (Franson, Gorges, Girgensons, Ennis, etc)

But almost every team has some dead weight. Moulson is producing, Franson is gone, hopefully Gorges is as well after this season.

Well, on a bright note, it looks like the great Auston Matthews has come down to Earth. Although, still doing well, he's now #38 in leagues scoring.

If this team can't find a way to turn the corner you have to start questioning the GM and his moves, we look to be strapped as of now cash wise.
