my thing with the Flames, whom it hate, was that their future looks better than ours because their best players are in their early 20's where as ours are in their mid 30's.

It comes down to me wanting to rebuild through the draft, that's where the conversation came from. They've got a ways to go, as most building teams do, but I like their young guys better than ours.....so far anyways.

As I said a few days ago, it's sad, frustrating, embarrassing that the best players on the current Canucks roster are players from the Burke era. He hasn't been the GM since 2004.

Culmination of bad ownership, bad management and bad coaching for twelve years and this is was you get. The extremely sad part is it's still continuing to this day.

I am becoming a bigger fan every game of Tryamkin. I am a big fan of Stecher.

I like Markstom and Gartieg.

I can't wait to see what Juolevi brings and of course Boeser.

Agreed it could turn around in a hurry, but every team/fans loves their draft picks. We're no different. I like their position going forward, as I said, because their best players are all so young. Monahan and Bennett are two nice young players in the middle, Gaudreau is a fantastic find on the wing, Tkachuk, Hamilton, it's a nice start to a foundation.

Horvat is nice, but he's not as good as Monahan or even Bennett, Tryamkin looks good to me, Stecher too, Hutton does not.
