If only that was the blogs biggest mistake ! It's poorly written, uninformed, biased, unrealistic and just generally fuking moronic.

this is the same guy that said the oilers defence a few years ago was as good as the bruins presidents trophy winning defence. A healthy version

Absolute insanity

I wanna feel bad for him cause he's just so clueless, but his insistence on continuing to write the same dumb sh1t over and over just irks me.
Literally the worst poster on this website.

While I wish it were so, I rather doubt it.

But sue anyway. For mental anguish perhaps?

I've read about people in Europe sueing for lifetime medical disability under the claim of being allergic to wifi signals/electro... stuff. Can't remember the exact terminology used, was laughing too much reading it until I saw they were winning the cases.

Apparently if you get mild headaches often and other symptoms... that mirror the common cold and or allergies, you can claim that disability

Such is the world we live in sadly.

Now that you mention it though, Hallfans blog did give me a mild headache and a desire to hurt the nearest fluffy woodland creature. Perhaps I have a case.

If there was not an impending expansion draft I'd say yes.

I suppose. Hate the thought of losing any D after years of lacking it.

no

hed be our 4th or 5th best defender. seriously. and the way nurse is now coming along, maybe lower in the not to distant future.

dougie has all the tools in the world, and certainly some offensive zone instincts.
but he just isnt very good overall. i think he was alot of media hype with a ton of holes in his game when he was dealt for. and 5+ for him right now is terrible. maybe its calgarys system? i dunno. but hes been average at best since being there. more often than not, much worse imo

he could come around and still end up great, but i wouldnt be willing to risk puju on it.
pulu is gonna be a beast for us going forward

I think Dougie is better than his time in Calgary would suggest. Oil still need a RH D with PP chops and Dougie does fit the bill. Also I like that he is under contract even if he is paid a bit much. Put him with a steady partner and I think he'd do well with Edmonton.
Admittedly losing Puljujarvi would suck especially with our dearth of quality RW's, but wingers are easier to find than quality RH offensive D. Would be a risk but I'd still do it if there were no expansion drafts in the immediate future.

i was thinking the other day about how much depth we have. its actually pretty impressive. especially in relation to years gone by.

obviously russel/davidson take benning/ grybas spot when theyre back.

but up front, we dont actually even have the space when caggiula, hendricks and pakarinen return. drakes probably the only one who even draws in.
so nice to see

who sits? lander i assume.
but who else?
absolutely not kassian imo.
pitlick isnt even a consideration.
pujujarvi? doubt it

maroon, mcjesus, ebs
poo, nuge, leon
looch, caggilua, pulju
pitlick, letestu, kassian
?

hendricks-pakarinen-lander
thats a full line of guys that used to be mainstays for the most part, that cant make the top 12 anymore

I really like the idea of Draisaitl being moved to RW when Cagg comes back. Brings some balance to the lineup and hopefully ups the production from the 2nd line.

It is a good thing to see. Feel kind of bad for Lander actually, he's impressed me in his new role.
