I only saw about 30 seconds myself... Does anyone know why McDavid continues to shoot the puck directly at opposing players. It's as if he thinks the puck will go through their chest somehow. I must have seen him do that 100 times so far this year.

Good to see Eberle taken off the top line. The way he plays the game disgusts me. If we worked as hard as Pitlick, he'd be a 100 point player. Sure he still puts up decent numbers, but I hope his no try, heartless brand of hockey are sent packing already. - Ihatebrianburke

and before we say its all mcdavid, look at his totals every year before connor
its crazy that people still think its this effort thing. would he have gotten 12pts in those 4 games if he tried harder?
hes a fairly one dimensional sniper with elite hands and puck skills. they go cold, they get hot. players like him dont do a ton for ya when they aint scoring, but you gotta keep trotting him out cause you cant just manufacture that kind of skill elsewhere. its funny how much hate he gets when hes not scoring, but how little love he gets when he is. Like it's easy to score as much as he does in this league.
and considering his totals every year, thats far more often than not.
you wanna move him, thats cool. but this team doesnt get to the next level unless we replace his 60 per.
and we dont have even 1 guy outside connor that can be counted on for that right now

i didnt really see that he was that bad, but i suppose when you dont notice him much, its all bad cause if he creating chances, hes not amazing at many other facets of the game

leon played decent, but aside from a couple games , hes really not as dominant lately as id hope.
that injury for pulu sucks too. taken a step back it seems. i guess thats to be expected, but he was just starting to figure it out before he went down and was looking super dangerous

I was at the Dallas game watching him coast around and do (frank) all and I can't stand it. If he tried as hard as Pitlick he'd be 100 point player. He's really the only player on the team that has that don't give a poop mentality anymore. I'd like to rid the team of it all together. I'm very aware that Eberle will put up points, just hate his no back check, don't give a (frank) attitude gone.

I don't see them trading Ebs. He's too important for them offensively. It's just that they haven't been able to make him realize how important other aspects of the game are. And it's been what, 6-7 years? That is somewhat troubling, because it is a choice. He can either choose to play defense or not. It's not like he isn't capable. The guys hockey IQ is as high as anyone's.

Eberle is our kessel. And there is nothing wrong with that.
I'd show him his WJC highlights, his first NHL goal, just to remind him of what he is capable of. He's a clutch player and can make scoring look easy. You can't replace that.
