Im all for stability but I dont know how you keep a guy if players are already tuning him out 1.25 years in.

To much money being paid out, can't fix problems with no cap space. Ennis was a goner until he got hurt yet again.

The problem here is Eichel will be enough to get people to say "see if we were healthy" and ignore the obvious problem.

something looks " off " with this team inuries aside. There game prep and game plan is very bad and we can't match up with other teams and that falls on the coaching staff.

Keep him out the whole year to fully get healthy and tank.

Even with an extension im not sure Murray would be able to keep his job. Nobody will admit but the only reason people haven't called for the GM/coaches head and or given away their tickets is because of Eichel. you remove that from the equation there is virtually no reason to watch this team. The guys being paid to excite simply arent doing it. 55 has been a more effective forward than Kane. That pretty much says it all
