Demko has played 5 games on a piss poor Utica roster.
After being in the mid 0.6 save percentage range after the first few games he's moved up to 0.878 (better than Bachman).
Lets all calm down please - Whiskey-Tango
It's just a Calgary fan...everyone is calm about Demko that is |

I dunno.
Let's hear em?
Here is the requirements...
Young Center (under 25 say).
top 6 potential.
Good attitude.
Willing to play in Vancouver.
Team is interested in trading him potentially
Team is willing to accept what Vancouver has (Dmen). - dbot
Tough criteria to meet because it would be so based on the exact trade scenario.
Centres I'd rather make a trade for than RNH:
-Duchene
-Reinhart(Buf probably doesn't want to trade)
-Coyle
-Rask
-Rakell
For the record this isn't because I have some hate on for RNH, I actually think he's a pretty good hockey player. Just not right for this team. |

Defensively responsible, do you watch the Canucks? He's not great defensively, although he was touted as such and now every Canuck fan and his brother thinks he is. He needs a lot of work on that side of his game.
He's bigger and stronger for sure, but I'll say again, he's not as gifted as RNH offensively. So many people, you included apparently, are stuck with the 18/19 year old version of RNH in their heads. He's 6'0" 190lbs, that's not the small frail kid that came into the league.
And where do you get that he's injury prone, again you probably are stuck in the mindset of the 19 year old kid who hurt his collar bone from a good hit. It hasn't been an issue for three years, last year he was hit in the hand with a pick and it broke his finger, I guess that makes him injury prone? - LeftCoaster
Of his 5 previous seasons in the league he's missed 20 or more games in 3 of them? |

A native of Marblehead, Mass., Schneider was a first-round draft pick (No. 24) by Vancouver in 2004 and turned pro after backstopping Boston College to consecutive appearances in the NCAA championship game in 2006 and 2007.
He joined the Moose to begin the 2007-08 campaign, and to say his pro career got off to a rocky start would be an understatement. After 11 appearances, the rookie's record stood at 3-7-0 with a goals-against average of 3.69 and a save percentage of .872.
"I really learned to appreciate the game and the skill level of these players in the American League," Schneider said.

As I stated before, Bo has only been in the league for 2 years. Do you honestly think that in 2 or 3 years time if you compare Horvat to 2016/2017 RNH that RNH will be the one you point to as the better player? |

Wow. I seriously blanked on the lockout My point remains, if you look at both guys who do you think is stronger/more durable? He may be a bigger guy than when he came into the league but there's still no comparison to Bo. |

So you'd rather not have Steven Stamkos because he's "injury prone" too? He's missed more games than RNH.

That's what makes RNH compelling in my opinion, it's possible. Like Kane is.
I like Duchene and Reinhart, but agree they are not as likely.
I don't think those other 3 are anywhere near RNH. They are more like Bo. We need a C that can score. |

I don't give a poop to be honest. What I care about is acquiring someone who's better or more talented! |
