Unless you have a card that is over a decade old... that is where your ignorance comes in.
There is not a crazy difference between the average card and the top of the line one anymore, except the price tag. Now for people who are modding the graphic settings to go over the maximum requirements or doing overclocking, then you need better equipment overall. - Guile
There's been sub $200 options available for years that run games really well. There's a vast space between minimum settings and impossibly high settings that shouldn't be overlooked. |

Well then I'm wrong and I apologize for offending Bullies. I was under the assumption (again, going by what my coworkers talked about) that the graphics card that comes on your motherboard, while functional, will not let you fully enjoy games at full resolution without lagging or other compromises. - jmatchett383
Just don't buy the 300 dollar Dell discount of the month, spring for about 6-700 and you'll be fine for near anything. |

even without the goal i thought coots played well last night - YuenglingJagr
I agree as well. I really meant so far this year. I am confident that he will fix that part of his game since he has never struggled with D zone exits any other time that I can remember throughout his career. He may be feeling the pressure, and rushing to get the puck out of the zone to move to his 2 gifted wingers.
If he continues driving play in the right direction, the points will come. People just need to be patient. |

I'm a tad snobby on what I consider "minimum" requirements... I wouldn't recommend options that low |

Everyone see Ek's "report" on Dylan Strome? I'm sure it would take a lot but he'd certainly be a fine young centermen to add to our team for the future. What would it take realistically? Thoughts? |

Yes, like cherrypicking a #fancy stat or two, without knowing what they really mean, to support a case that a player is awesome or that a player sucks. - Scoob

I like my graphics card to double as a stove top. It's a feature, not a bug. |

He has stuck with set players in the lineup, and when your most skilled players get scratched before your least skilled players then I think people can certainly complain about the decision making - YuenglingJagr
The players you are referencing arent competing with Gostisbehere for ice time in the same roles. With different players and skill sets comes different degrees of evaluation. We know that Gostisbehere's skill set and talent didnt have anyrhing to do with why he sat out.

Right. I get that. But when I buy a game for the console, I'm going to have the game running at the max. console settings because the console is made to primarily play games. Granted, the console version will not have the same level of features that the PC game will, and as time goes on, those differences grow. That is why I prefer the console; the console is made primarily to play games, the computer is made for a multitude of things, and can be modified to offer preferred gameplay. |

I think the Ghost and to a lesser degree the in game shift skipping of TK is Hak's attempt to curb bad habit forming in young players before they become routine.
I think proof of that is VDV....he does everything he is told and the coach knows what to expect, even if it is low ceiling impact. There may be more merit in your thought track then people want to believe. I would venture to say Hak may have even told guys on bench what to watch out for and maybe they didn't heed it or let their youthful exuberance override that and then you get a TK sitting a few shifts for Weise.
It's hard as a fan to watch, but probably is best for the long run. Deep down we all know we are still a wild card/low playoff seed type team this year, so why not get habits right for this crop of young players knowing you may have a whole new set coming in next year or two.....probably don't want a runaway train like the Oilers had been. - juiced

He'll likely put up 35-40 points this year, maybe more if TK keeps improving. But still, more shots does not necessarily equate to more goals. |

Great win last night. However seeing the 2 goals the Jets scored, you can see why the 2016 draft class was full of 2 way 200 ft players.

Oh I know, and I don't believe it. Why would a young team give up on a top draft pick who is 19? I mainly asked just for conversation for my slow bored Friday at the office |
