Is Tryamkin the next Chara or Pronger.... hmmmm tough call.
- 1979AD

I think neither, but too early to call. He is a big dude though. You can't teach 6'7".

The most biased news in the country, Sportnet Toronto teams news, is calling it a freak accident. They take any chance they can to take a shot at the Canucks, anyone that watched the game knows it was a cringe-worthy weird/freak accident collision.

I also think neither, I was more illistrating that he's closer to a Chara (if were lucky) than a Pronger. I do think he will be a top-4 guy though, that's all we really need him to be and I think most of us are pretty happy with him so far/that being his ceiling.

Yeah you can.

Just give Jordan Subban the same stick as Tryamkin.

You're joking right? Six masturbatory posts, and the only concern for the poor kid is cancelled out by blame for his own injury.

Masturbation:

If a Tree falls on Richardson and no one is there to see it, do the shattering bones in his leg make a sound?

we need a better nickname for Tryamkin... Tree is better than Groot, but the Crippler might be more appropriate

We had the Russian Rocket... now we've got the Russian (Get) Rekt

Tryamkin is more of a Scud Missile.

This is the effect that Tryamkin has on players and the opposition awareness of him on the ice grows with every game he plays. He's not just a tall dude either... he is beefy as well. If he was a black belt like Chara, he'd probably be able to punch through someone's skull

we could have tree turn into more in a few years. I wonder how the early years of pronger compare to him. Remember he was traded to st louis a few years after his being drafted.

Id love to see him in front of opposition net sometime.

Concern for Richardson:

Happy we got the win, hope Richardson recovers.

Blaming Richardson for getting injured:

Richardson knowing he's prone to injury literally turtled down low and put himself in a vulnerable position. Bad decision but Richardson gets hurt so easily, he more or less panicked.

What is your purpose here, I've come to the conclusion it's to start something, am I correct? Tell you what I'll head over to the leafs blog to see, but I don't think you'll like that.

I think he will be a solid top 4 for you guys also, if he is half as good as Chara you got a keeper.

i'd be extremely happy if he turned into a responsible top 4 who can play 20 minutes and provide pugnacity, testosterone, truculence and belligerence.

that to me would make the pick a homerun.

Was he a draft pick or did you guys lure him from the KHL like we did with Zaitsev?

Ok, nice pick then. I think he will be a solid, non-flashy guy for a long time. WD wouldn't put him in the crease on PP would he?

But it is still only second place in the "best question asked of the day" awards, behind current leader:

Strategy, smatergy, we don't need no stinkin' strategy. As long as you can roll 4 lines and play DD with under 5 minutes left in the 3rd period and play Bo 17 minutes with Skille, Burrows or DD and either keep JV in the pressbox or bury him in the minors, the Canucks will be just fine. It's not like anything else will work seeing as everyone on the team has hands of stone and skates of cement.
