I've always agreed with the fact you need quality picks and having high draft picks increases the odds of getting them.

It's the method used in trying to get in position is the deviation in tact. But I know you are okay with trying at least and if by the deadline there is no hope then calling it quits is alright. That's pragmatic at least in the methodology of rebuilding.

I am really admiring the NCAA in it's Player quality. Having been a bridge alternative between the junior and AHL route ... it's become quite the development league for NHL talent.

Dragon I can't quote you, but Pronger came into the league and played two full seasons of significant minutes with Hartford, which is why high trade value was as high as to get Brendan Shanahan in his prime. Totally different players, Pronger is one of a kind could skate too fast for a guy that big, Tree will never be that good. If were lucky though, he could be a Chara which is still pretty great. Fitness has been the issue, Chara is known to be a beast in the gym hopefully he models himself after him.
