Just talk as of now, Kane's confidence is all but gone and Ladd seems lost in the system the Islanders play. Garth Snow seems as crazy as Murray so that could be a bad combo.

Regardless what is going on with Kane on and off the ice, Murray traded for him because he likes him and thinks he will be a good player here. Unfortunate we have failed to see it yet.

I hope he is looking at Ryan Strome and Da Haan too on islanders. Or their first rounder cause they are playing bad this year. Lol

I don't remember seeing that one during the WC, but then it was 14 years ago. I do remember everyone was shocked the US made it out of the group stage though.

I was thinking to "stop" tanking, EVERY team MUST trade their own first round pick by trading deadline.

Could be for another teams first or player(s) or whatever, but must trade it.

My only issue is there islanders have been pretty bad for the longest time (bar Tavares) so to keeping taking players from that team seems like a bad idea.

Nope, when you don't fit in with that system there is nothing you can do, Sabres dumped Ehrhoff, little different but very close. Makes no difference when they signed him.
