Regardless of outcome Looking at Hawks .... yeah they got another chance at Cup this year... hard to believe we had a rivalry only a short time ago. Then present state of Canucks lends me to think about those scenes they showed of old men in basements seeing Cubs win World Series .... is that what it would take for Canucks and Cup....generations ...?

Fly home on the 25th, I've spent most of my life away from home, but this gig is different for some reason, the pay is awesome, and an extra 6k per month to live in Ottawa is another huge bonus, but yesterday I turned down relocation, so they asked if I will stay on until August which I'll discuss with Mrs Makita on my week home.

Despite the creds, the funny thing is that I'd have been much better off financially going another route (i.e. not spending most of a decade in post-secondary education) and the chances that I'll ever earn more than Mrs Lums is pretty slim... but it's all about doing something that you love, and the degrees are a means to an end.
