I was hoping they won this game but when the hawks tied it up I was thinking just finish it god damn it.
I worked at the aquarium years and years ago and they had this sloth. The vet had a funny story that when he was treating the animal it decided to bite him. The sloth grabbed the vet's arm and brought it to its mouth. That took about 30 seconds to accomplish. Because the sloth is so strong, all the vet could do was watch and wait for the bite.
This game was kind of like that. - bloatedmosquito
In 30 seconds I would of stabbed it to death and had half the caping job done for the taxidermist... |

I like Stecher, I think he's going to be 'a real good player', but maybe a rookie with 10 games of NHL experience shouldn't be playing 22 min? - 1970vintage
What real choice do we have with Tanev out? As it sits right now Stecher has earned top 4 TOI plus we are going to have to learn to live with a few of his gaffes as he is offensively-minded. |

If you look at comparable rookies like Ekblad, Doughty, Hanifin, Chychrun, Rielly etc... they all played 20+ mins in their rookie years. - dshiddy
Oh right, I forgot Stechy was a top 5 pick |

He should be playing 22 minutes, just not against the hawks. Not fair really when they can shorten their bench in the 3rd and bring out two all-star lines. |

The comment isn't about teams below the canucks, it's about bottom feeding teams which Toronto certainly falls into. But carry on with your thoughts. - Makita
I will leave now, we had a good convo last night. I called VT out for saying poop he shouldn,t have said. I also took a page from merwood's book and flagged vt for breaking CoC. G'night, talk soon. |

Yes, I don't think they need any more image problems. Good thing you didn't work there.

This is true. Marky looked solid for two periods but mentally there is something up with this guy…he is getting into Miller territory to the 4-5 goals per game mark and we just aren't going to score that many per game.
Edler is another story…has flashes of brilliance but man when there is a 'safe' lead he disappears.
But Horvat-Granlund and Sedin…one of them should have put this game away after the CHI goal was disallowed. Bury that sh!t!!!
- LordHumungous
We need a few visits from Rollie... seriously. It's worked in the past when our GT's are having problems leaving the crease, sitting too far back and not being able to find pucks. He has worked the reset in the past.
One thing I've noticed all season with Markstrom is how slow he is to pounce on loose or dead pucks... I expect that from a 40 year old... Not Markstrom. |

its really to bad we got a point tonight |

If that was going to be the outcome, I would have rather the hawks win it in the 3rd. Who gives a (frank) about the one point. - bloatedmosquito
A single point keeps FA from allowing a full re-build. |

It wasn't his fault. In case you didn't hear or see this.
@JasonPHT: Willie says he told the Canucks not to sit back in the third. |

Isn't that against the CoC . I am not sure but I thought if anyone was into CoCKnowledge it would be you.
You're right I am a DB because clearly I couldn't give a rats ass if you got struck down by a bus. |

To compare an undrafted rookie to top prppsiect d men is just silly
I'm not trolling ...Stecher looks like a good one ...but you can't compare him to the D men that were used ...different circumstances |

Yeah I think he's missing him... Cloutier hasn't figured it out yet on what needs to be fixed. |

You're not a fan of that trade? He's certainly made the team better, Vancouver is far better defensively and sucks offensively.
