Then when they did something new this season but wound up losing in OT it's a dispointment that gets ragged on. Well I for one was entertained. That's the only thing I think we can ask for from the Canucks this season.

Well, the Canucks played well last night, at least for their current skill level. The biggest difference was when the Hawks skilled players (the kind you get high in the first round) turned it on, the Canucks couldn't match and they began chasing the game.

Still some positives, Hutton had a good game (finally), Horvat was a bright spot, Tryamkin was decent, I thought Granlund played well...that's four of our young guys.

Markstrom and Edler didn't have great games though, I still think Edler plays way too much, almost 30 minutes last night, the guy gets exhausted.

Oh....and how about that overtime, that was something else hey

Oh they do, but they usually choose Canuck posters..

We need a few visits from Rollie... seriously. It's worked in the past when our GT's are having problems leaving the crease, sitting too far back and not being able to find pucks. He has worked the reset in the past.

One thing I've noticed all season with Markstrom is how slow he is to pounce on loose or dead pucks... I expect that from a 40 year old... Not Markstrom.

I agree this might be the case. His puck-tracking needs work to be sure. On the first goal as nice as it was he did have time to get moderately in position but was nowhere near in place. The second goal as much as Edler and Stecher were puck watching Markstrom HAS to track that puck. Third goal was just a leaky one. And I know Edler may have screened him a bit on the OT goal but man a 25+ foot shot wrister from there has to get stopped..and he knew it too. Not saying Miller is any better right now but it sure appears Marky needs a break to work on a few issues mentally and physically.

His new mask sucks too.
