The guy is among the league's leading scorers despite having another year of eligibility. Sure, he is in London but he is walking the walk. - Slump Buster
That he is, I could very well be wrong but this something you see a lot of on teams like london.

So, I was just on Eliteprospects.com and the scouting blurb on Baptiste says he's not fast.
Not sure if maybe that's something that he used to struggle with, but speed is certainly not an issue for him. In fact, his game is most effective when he's using his speed. He gets lost out there when he's not.
Someone that can teach the Youth.....Uhmm....ok...
Wake the frank up Sabres fans...this guy coached in the Memorial Cup, battled through the worst season in Sabres History, raised a Son who has 2 #(hashtag)muthafooka Rings, named by the GM's of the league as " Coach of the Year", in his first year, won singing appraisals by players who have gone on to win various awards.....
and not just that, of course,......to any sensible Sabres Fan, who endured last season..........They got soooo......much better. Anyone who says Nolan is 'such and such' a Coach is full of nonsense. He gets it....thats why Murray hired him for 3 fookin' years. - notalent
Because coaches are generally the same and overthink themselves.
hard work must = results in their minds.
It's baffling that coaches all around the league still think this way. - ImThatGuy
I think it's more showing the talented guys that don't necessarily want to work that hard that he's going to take away some of their ice-time for a guy regardless of talent if he works hard. Even if he's Matt Ellis. I think it's a long game move to get their talented players to work harder, one that they repeat ad nauseam though to the point of actually buying into it themselves.
Plus, this generation of coaches probably looked at Herb Brooks as "the guy" because you know, he took a team of plucky college kids and beat the mighty Soviets. The fact that it's called "The Miracle on Ice" is irrelevant as is the fact that they lose that game 99 times out of 100.
Driving home to NY in the new car tonight. How are the roads? Slick, snowy, wet as (frank)?
I haven't had any practice driving a RWD, super light car in the snow.
I think the last time I drover RWD in the snow was 1991. - jochfr
The BRZ right? You have a stick I'm assuming? Just keep it in a higher gear so you don't have too much torque and spin the tires when you don't want to and don't drive like an bumhole and you'll be fine.
Driving my 2WD truck in the snow was (frank)ing ridiculous, it didn't matter how much weight was over the rear axle that thing was all over the place. One time I filled the bed with heavy ass snow, up over the sides, and I was still sliding all over the place, and I had good snow tires too. And if you stopped you got stuck again, because of the lack of weight.
Yeah, they showed a lot of different replays where there were one or more people wide freaking open. If his accuracy was even decent he might be serviceable.
The question really isn't "Taylor or not". The question is "Taylor at 15 mill per or not". We are dead last in passing, and that comes with the benefit of the league's best run game. - Slump Buster
His accuracy is fine when his footwork is sound, it's when he throws from odd positions that he's all over the place. And footwork can be taught a lot more than arm mechanics.
