Murray may have found his big Swedish goaltender, it's just too bad he picked him up for free and paid a 1st round pick for the backup.

On a side note, I think SO goals should count toward season total.

What maybe 10 more per in certain cases? It would never lead to anyone breaking 92, anyway.

Lehner has been a beast this season.

Agreed. I like Lehner, but Nilson has also been a beast. The paying of a 1st to get Lehner virtually guarantees he's our start for the foreseeable future no matter how well Nilsson plays.

i'm looking at it this way...sure he may have wasted a first-rounder but, if murray and his scouting staff are as good as I think, they'll make up for it by landing other players who will turn out to be first-round worthy...

it's still a little early, but second rounders Brendan guhle (55st) and rasmus asplund (33rd) may end up being the type of talent that teams would grab in the lower third of the first round

I think he's a solid starting goalie. That's all we need. I wish we hadn't had to pay such a high price for him, but I just focus on what we have, not what we gave up and we have a decent goalie.

Have you seen pineapple's corsi?

I think he's a solid starting goalie. That's all we need. I wish we hadn't had to pay such a high price for him, but I just focus on what we have, not what we gave up and we have a decent goalie.
