You can pick the team, and it shows you who is definitely eligible, and also a countdown for those that meet all requirements except games played. Has a nice list of all exempt players too - lumlums
Scroll back on the thread we have talked about this ....
Arizona - they only have 7 roster forwards who are under contract beyond this coming summer, and out of those, Domi/Crouse/Dvorak/Dauphin are ineligible. They do also have Duclair who is RFA and needs protection, but still - slim pickings! - lumlums
They are definitely a team to watch. Will they be selling a young player just to get the mandatory players that need to be exposed. Let's say something like Biega & Gaunce for Duclair ànd a 4th etc.
Or will they sign players like Shane Doan to another 1 year contract before seasons end.(he then retires right after expansion draft).
I see a lot of discussion on the rules of the expansion draft, not concern over the expansion draft.

Yeah. Why at the risk of bringing it up again think the real interest would be:
That this TDL will be very interesting as sellers will have more motive to sell not to lose assets they can't protect to buyers who are going for it and will take that risk.
It might get play tomorrow if they practise and put him on a line. I guess he might get in over Megna for the thump power that is missing cause we don't have DD. More so evident too without JV. But we all know this last sent down wasn't for a short stay like his 2 day no stuff one.

I am more then familiar just making a joke about the loss of cork. Speaking about funny wine can't stand those plastic/rubber cork substitutes. Might as well be screw top
I dont think they would, which is why I think they will look at taking a few fringe players they could squeak through. There are some scenarios (like this) that I havent seen addressed yet - WhiteLie
Yeah you got it. There are many scenarios. I suppose up to training camp end they can keep them all as long as they are only 10% above the Cap.
Wondering about the side deals a team can make with them like done in the past. These Vegas Knights could trade back a drafted player for some pick or something. Maye the extra overage players they don't want to keep on the roster are offered in trades to other teams straight up to fill needs? Or as an add on to move up a spot in the NHL draft. Like give me your second for my 3rd plus X player we just picked up.
All the above will keep trader Jim spinning in the off season

Good, rather labate get called up and not play while JV continues to get minutes in Utica. - Retinalz
In the end, whether it's Lebate, JV or someone else, won't make a difference whether the team wins or loses. At best anyone from the Comets are placeholders meant to hold down the spot until someone comes back from injury, even if that spot is the 13th forward.
I'm starting to worry that JV isn't going to work out, not because of the partying or even his play, but because playing for his hometown might be the wrong situation from him. Especially here, where the weight of fan expectation and the desire for a saviour who can take the team to the promised land could crush even someone who has the most mental fortitude ever.

Sure that could be the case. Look up a few spots on my response to this as an add on. Maybe you won't worry to much about JV. It's just the timing, WD and his way of playing. Like needs meshing linemates to elevate play.
