I hope you are right....the fact the Canucks haven't scored a goal while he is on the ice is pretty alarming though. Also, the fact Willie likes him is also alarming
- CanuckDon

He has two assists, were they both scored after he got off the ice?

Compare him to the other guys getting low minutes and I think he comes out favorably.

Granlund and Baertschi are getting over double the ice time with offensive players and more often in the offensive zone and have 5 and 4 more points. I wouldn't be getting alarmed by Gaunce's offensive output just yet.

Would this team beat the Canucks in a 7 game series?
- CanuckDon

No. But what is interesting is that sellers will being making deals at the TDL so not to lose assets in the expansion draft. While buyers will be more bolden to go for it and take risks with contracts that can be absorbed by Vegas looking to be cap compliant.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. They need to hit the cap floor and he is having a good year despite what the haters will say. It's either Sbisa, Bae or Granlund
- CanuckDon

I am not familiar with what the floor would look like with the above roster, but I am not sure Sbisa's contract hitting the floor would be worth the team picking him up lol. No offence to him...

I read that the Canucks haven't scored an even strength goal with Guance on the ice. 2 short handed goals I guess.

Well Vegas has to take somebody...I doubt any of our available players are very appealing

Fair enough, he is generating shots/limiting shots at a better rate than many other offensive guys.

This team is bad, especially in the offensive end. I'm not predicting a massive breakout or even that he will be in the NHL the whole season but the kid does so many little things right, the bounces will start to come.

For a while during the losing streak I though he Burrows and Dorsett were the most consistent line in terms of effort and pressure.

I have seen a couple projections with the Canucks left off entirely.

I don't think fans should harp on the young guys for not scoring goals. That's the job of the twins, Eriksson, and Sutter. The remaining players on the roster cannot be relied on to consistently score.

Our prospects need to be coached and developed with patience.

Yeah I see that. Funny saw a list by Pro picks projecting DD and fans having Hanson.

It's a term used to describe wine that's gone bad.
- CubanBuffet

Partially correct. It's not that it has gone bad, but is bad because of a chemical reaction from bacteria in the cork and a preservative. Without that bacteria, the wine can't be corked, but could still go bad for a variety of other reasons.

Oh I see....Vegas is getting set up for success with Bettman's new draft format. They should draft a few top line players within the first 3 seasons.

Why the overage of players will mostly likely produce trades where they can't bury them in the AHL.

The NHL has created a situation were Tankers are rewarded. They also created a situation where the only winning team rewarded is the one who wins the cup.

I wish they would look at the EPL to see how teams can still be rewarded for winning without winning the league title. It would be nice to see the league generate excitement amongst fans beyond the stanley cup.

Here's one know will be popular: John Tortarella is the clear favorite for the Jack Adams at this point.

There's a poop ton of chemistry. How alcohols react with acids to create esters and aldehydes, how oxygen and sulphur react with each other, with the acids, alcohols, bacteria. It's some difficult poop for a guy that doesn't have a strong chemistry background.

First, I think Button is out to lunch. Reeves? St.Louis cant protect Jaskins and is likely available at a similar cap hit. One of Fowler and Despres will be available from ANA

I also dont think they take Sbisa as that list of spares has a lot of D who are capable of being a bottom pairing: Nesterov, Schenn, van Reimsdyk. If I were Vegas I would rather take a bigger contract up front in hopes they produce offense than spending 3.6 on bottom pairing, then use the final picks to get a forward with some potential

Also while researching a bit, Nichushkin in Dallas is available to Vegas and will need to be protected to be retained by Dallas

Does everyone understand the expansion draft now, I have my doubts. A dozen pages of Leaf/Canuck retribution and down right ibicility about who is going to be on the eligible list for LV. What a waste of an hour.
