The NHL has created a situation were Tankers are rewarded. They also created a situation where the only winning team rewarded is the one who wins the cup.

I wish they would look at the EPL to see how teams can still be rewarded for winning without winning the league title. It would be nice to see the league generate excitement amongst fans beyond the stanley cup.

Does everyone understand the expansion draft now, I have my doubts. A dozen pages of Leaf/Canuck retribution and down right ibicility about who is going to be on the eligible list for LV. What a waste of an hour.

There's a poop ton of chemistry. How alcohols react with acids to create esters and aldehydes, how oxygen and sulphur react with each other, with the acids, alcohols, bacteria. It's some difficult poop for a guy that doesn't have a strong chemistry background.

Love that poop. UC Davis in the US actually has a program where you can get a masters degree in both brewing and viticulture/oenology. It's a nice mix between chemistry, food science and microbiology

I like him because he makes many smart plays in all 3 zones. The points haven't come but they will. I read something a while ago that he was essentially getting Malhotra like deployment and still coming out ahead.

At 22 being asked to win faceoffs and start almost exclusively in the defensive zone is impressive IMO.

Guys like Gaunce slowly just get better at the game, they don't arrive with fanfare and excitement but one day you still end up with a valuable player.

Totally agree, why do we think that the 4th liners all have to be young, cheap, and have to score lots of goals to be good 4th liners. Malhotra was even a top draft pick but ended up being a very good player for what he was a good checking, faceoff, guy who understood the game well.

I find that hard to believe. I'm also one of the most outspoken folks against the signing of Martin on the Leafs board, so I'd consider that addition by subtraction for our squad...

I like Martin & wanted him here at the right price.
That said other dominos had to fall for me to do that.
Turned out fine being that we have lots of work yet to do.
On the Leafs thread i was banned for asking about upgrading D.
i still maintain G & D r a big hole. Suggested moving JVR for top 2-4 D boom banned.
Tbh that thread is a joke without any explanation. Just 1 more reason to laff.
