Duclair would be worth kicking the tires at but him as the main piece in the Tanev deal is worth it IMO.
Duclair and 2 2nds would be nice but despite what some say there is absolutely no reason to move Tanev if you aren't getting a elite piece back.
I would say Strome for Tanev is closer to value but I don't like Strome at all. - belcherbd
There are rumors of NYI trading Hamonic to Colorado for Duchene. Maybe then do something around Tanev for Strome+2017 1st or something else? I think Strome would look good on Bo's right side and he has the ability to put up over 50pts in this league. |

Trying not to assume here... Also not trying to be black and white so lets give this a try.
I think it would be, in your best interest, possibly, to not insult long timer posters, possibly, with this kind of stuff when you aren't the most popular poster in the board.... possibly maybe.

That pick would have to be not lottery protected. But I would rather this than duclair. I'm not saying he's bad at all, just that I'd want Stome for any Taney deal. |

He's doing so well too.
That's the top two ranked centres out now... I wonder how far this could slide Vilardi down in the draft(hopefully)? - boonerbuck
Who knows, teams (with the exception of Benning apparently) tend to distance themselves from from top 10 picks who suffer a significant injury in their draft year.
Highly doubt he slides out of the top 5 unless some dark horses emerge.
I suppose we should get a clearer picture after the WJC as for some reason, scouts still tend to use that as the end all?

I don't get the Hamonic hype but that sounds like a bad deal as well to me for the Avs.
I would likely be asking for 2 of Keller, Perlini, Crouse, Samuellson or Merkley and possibly more considering which 2. |

Given what the market has shown for top 4 D men, I would start with Keller. Yotes entertaining that would probably be slim but it would be worth a try. I haven't looked at their salary cap but with Pronger/Datsyuk they must be pretty close. |

I was talking about Ryan Strome from NYI not Dylan Strome from Yotes. One season removed from a 50 pt season and fell to 28 last. Not a reclamation project, just likely not a future center as I think he played wing that first full season. But yes the 1st would be unprotected, or could be top 3 protected with the condition being that it turns into 2018 1st/2nd. |

Does sound like a terrible deal, but its not worse than Hall for Larsson.
Hamonic is atleast an established top 4. |

I don't want to beat this dead horse any longer but this all could be avoided with simple proof reading man. You are asking me not to assume something on a public board where I am truly not assuming, perhaps there is a disconnect between you and your words, but I am trying my very best to understand you and acknowledge your posts (something that isn't shared by other posters on here). I think you might be misinterpreting my posts as well as I have never had any type of criticism spoken to me about my posts/responses by any other poster since I have been here. I will take your criticism positively and I assure you I will try my very best to understand, acknowledge, and not assume anything regarding your posts and will reply with colorful, non-biased, simple and safe responses. - Codes1087
Okay. I am not prefect and make plenty of mistakes. Ridicule seems to be easier for some over understanding. You more often have engaging posts on facts and analysis. Which is refreshing to read as an add to the thread then a takeaway retort which some prefer to do to avoid self exposure. |

Bro, you generally have some great talking points and certainly advance the discussion forward, adding a narrative that does not simply fit within the confines of the 'two camps' that have dominated this board for the last few years, but:
Do they not teach pronunciation, grammar, proper sentence structure and basic writing ability down there in N.Y?
Here's an idea, type-out any and all of your responses in Microsoft Word before to post them online, correct them with the aid of the software and re-post them here. Within a week or two you will be set |

Not a bad structure but I cant see AZ retaining salary on Smith, nor do I think Van wants him around clogging the pipeline for the next 2.5 years when he becomes an immovable 36/37 year old |

My bad, I didn't realize you were talking about Dylan either.
Still don't like him as main piece in a Tanev deal. Pulock would be interesting though. |

no one here is perfect or claiming to be. I, personally, turn to facts and stats and historical data as a source rather than opinion because I feel it makes the world work. I am not trying to ridicule you, I am trying to understand you. I don't want to continue on with this but honestly bud, please, don't take everything to heart and please proof read your stuff, it will make your time here much more enjoyable. Actually, despite the criticism he has faced, I applaud the fact he doesnt take things too seriously and posts a few jokes from time to time (though those are sometimes hard to differentiate from his other posts). There are certain posters that should have been born with the ability to not take pokes over the internet so personally/seriously, instead of other abilities... |

I would the same if u.
Let me explain k
Smith is out of Zonas bair & only a injurybprone backup for us.
Let Marky carry the puck n either do well or help us tank.
Gaunce is for the 2nd pick.
Tanev & Miller cor only a year nets Duvlair/1st.
That gives Zona more cal room next season.
Essentially we get faster & force Biega to qualify.
It puts pressure on Sven to up his game.
More dynamics & picks will satisfy many fans. |
