He must be having an off day, normally hes a cool dude. Probably fighting with the spouse... broads am I right?
- WhiteLie

Even good posters have an off day. We should be supportive while he deals with his personal issues.

no one here is perfect or claiming to be. I, personally, turn to facts and stats and historical data as a source rather than opinion because I feel it makes the world work. I am not trying to ridicule you, I am trying to understand you. I don't want to continue on with this but honestly bud, please, don't take everything to heart and please proof read your stuff, it will make your time here much more enjoyable. All anyone asks of you.

Good post Codes, it's good to see you trying to placate the situation. It's so easy to be belligerent in this day and age.

Okay. I am not *prefect and make plenty of mistakes. Ridicule seems to be easier for some over understanding. You more often have engaging posts on facts and analysis. Which is refreshing to read as an add to the thread then a takeaway retort which some prefer to do to avoid self exposure.

I would the same if u.
Let me explain k
Smith is out of Zonas bair & only a injurybprone backup for us.
Let Marky carry the puck n either do well or help us tank.
Gaunce is for the 2nd pick.
Tanev & Miller cor only a year nets Duvlair/1st.
That gives Zona more cal room next season.
Essentially we get faster & force Biega to qualify.
It puts pressure on Sven to up his game.
More dynamics & picks will satisfy many fans.

I get what you hope would happen in that type of deal, but AZ is not a cap team so I cant see them eating salary for anything, especially not giving up a 1st round pick who would bring another ELC to their books.
Also working against that is the expansion draft, Domingue is the goalie of the future, and their most experienced guy in the AHL is RFA, so they need to have a goalie to expose in the draft that is signed into next year, Miller doesnt do that.
I would also add that Biega wouldnt be any closer to qualifying for the draft, because hes behind Tryamkin, Stecher, Sbisa, Edler, Hutton, Gudbranson, and Larsen

Again, I like the direction you're trying to go, but I think AZ is not a team Van can trade with. As Florida and Detroit have shown, AZ is a good fit for contending teams looking to ditch dead money

Gaunce is for the 2nd & is seasoned.
Miller is a UFA & upgrade on Smith & his 3yr contract.

Trying not to assume here... Also not trying to be black and white so lets give this a try.

I think it would be, in your best interest, possibly, to not insult long timer posters, possibly, with this kind of stuff when you aren't the most popular poster in the board.... possibly maybe.

- Codes1087

Thanks for the humor. Don't take this out of context. It wasn't an insult. It's a thank you reply to his two negative posts towards me.

A post mind you out of nowhere. There was no attempt to make a valid point or counter view. The reply was to a personal snarky add on comment post to a discussion of agreement with another poster. Like okay nice one for making a personal slant on a post discussion for no reason other then to try to ridicule. So that's okay by you and should be allowed or encouraged?

Shouldn't it be that if one doesn't agree with the post then say why and so forth. It is okay to joke around. Fine it's all in good fun to trade barbs. But then again to just label for conveince is that to add to the riducule? Or is the purpose here to have fun by degrading?

I am new to posting here. That's all. It's not a popular thing in of itself.

Well if Fla and Detroit can contend so can we.

Burrows and Virtanen for a 2nd and 3rd round pick sounds about right.

I don't get it...nobody would trade a 2nd for Guance and why would they want a UFA? and why would the Canucks want Smith? I can't see the Canucks taking on a bad goalie for 3 years. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but it's seems very evident to me that the Canucks internal budget has been reduced. Aquilini is cutting costs prior to potentially selling the team

You need to post more, that way I'll get used to your weird or lazy posting style. I have a really hard time trying to figure out what the message is that your trying to convey.

Being honest here, I don't know what the below means?

Smith is out of Zonas bair???
Tanev & Miller cor only a year???
Zona more cal room???

Or maybe you've been drinking and that kind of explains the post.
