I suppose this means JV is in for the long stay in Utica we all want for him At least they finally seem to have figured out the right way to handle him. |

I believe he has had similar production to his last season in Utica (decent). He did manage a secondary assist for Calgary two games ago so that's something. I was saying from the beginning that this would be a nothing trade. I never liked Granlund but it's nice to see him improving. - CanuckDon
I was thinking the league is made up of elite teams and competitive teams. That's it. The canucks are one of the worst but they can still win games against those elite teams. Most of the bottom feeders can.
A Granlund type player on a roster like ours will ensure you can at least stay competitive some nights.

He's played under 60 minutes this season and has a secondary assist. That assist has sparked renewed enthusiasm with whiskey though. He's waiving that point around like a light sabre.

No argument there. Why there was a cringe at first over Boeser because he came from the same system. PTSD from GM "Gutless" picks isn't easy to get over. |

Nonis picked a college player who quit hockey right away and was singing national anthems at hockey games 6 years later... Heard he is a professional dancer as well...

I agree. And the fact that they let him come home to grab his blanky and return makes me think it's long term.
Every parent knows you can't just buy a replacement blanky.
