When the salary dumps are factored into Phaneuf's contract, I think he has significantly more value than Ryan.

I've been saying this for years: I don't know if it is because of all the finger injuries, but when was the last time Ryan actually took a slapshot or even put something into a shot?

unless we can get rid of Phaneuff Methot is as good as gone. They will most likely protect Ceci over Methot because of the age difference

garrioch seems to think the team will approach phaneuf about waiving his NTC, assuming that vegas won't want to take on the contract........I'm sure they'll puch the "do it for the team" argument on him.....and hey, the worst that could happen is that he gets to play hockey in what will be an insanely fun market (at least for the first few years).

karlsson, ceci, methot (assuming phaneuf waives)
