I think in this case artifacts is a term used to describe the art of making up facts. |

How many games did Sbisa need? it sounds like Larsen is pretty close to being on the active roster again.
I could care less if Larsen or Biega are waived at this point, the expansion requirements are overblown IMO.
If they send down Stecher I will be confused because he is clearly helping them be more competitive. - belcherbd
Sbisa needs 9 more games before he qualifies I think |

I hope they play Grenier tonight instead of any of our 4th line guys, he would bring some good energy. |

Well I doubt that will work if Larsen is ready to go. Even with the Cancucks condensed schedule I don't think 9 games will occur in the 14 days Larsen can be sent for a conditioning stint. |

Stecher has earned his TOI so far. Keeping Larsen and Biega around only exists for injuries. Larsen is a bust and Biega doesn't really bring anything we need. The D group now ain't playing too bad so why change it...
If Tanev comes back he'll be hurt right away again anyways so maybe we suld leave the D alone for a bit. |

Grenier isn't a guy who brings energy.... He has improved immensely under Green but he is more of a finesse guy than energy guy despite his size.
He puts up points consistently with the Comets but IMO is never consider one of their key players. |

You're right, I would guess they're unwilling to take the risk on Biega so maybe Stecher goes down for a short period till they have a spot for him. Would still be surprising considering how well he's played.
EDIT: My bad, I thought there were no spots as well. scratch Larsen. |

My bad.
I was thinking we were carrying 8 D with Larsen on IR but unless I am forgetting about somebody we only have 7 active D until he returns. |

Much like the other young losing teams I simply said I like the young group the Flames have drafted moving forward.
I can't wait until the Canucks have a good young core group in the NHL as opposed to just wishing and hoping on a prospect or three.
Teams like the Flames, Leafs and Buffalo might not be currently winning but at least their entertaining and they score goals. Injuries and holdouts have affected this, this year, however. - LeftCoaster
Flames have had a tough go with injuries but that's no excuse ...sub par goaltending from Elliott and a lack of pp is on the players
Buffalo really got hosed ...if they are healthy all year who knows where they are in the standings ....does anyone remember who jack Eichel is
Leafs I think are in better shape than most in here think or would like to think ...their young kids look great ...their AHL team looks great ...they will be able to attract free agents too ..if Edmonton can now then Toronto will be able to soon |

The Canucks just need to do what Winnipeg, and every other young team, has done, be patient and build through the draft. Which they're doing, although the fans seem to only be 50/50 on that path forward.
Jets have been lucky with Scheifele, Ehlers, Connor, Trouba and Laine but they still need another really good center to truly compete. |

I think most fans are happy to be patient and build through the draft. Some here are not but I don't know that HB accurately reflects the entire fanbase.
That said I don't know that fans will necessarily continue to show up to games during the rebuild unless the prices come down. |
