Then that would have forced them to Keep Mcilrath, which would have made the defense slower. That side is an issue.

1/4 way into the season im pretty confident in saying Mcilrath wouldnt be doing any worse out there than Klein is

Gotta sell high in the cap world

looking at you Zucc

Put the lines that work back together and see what happens. Guys need to step up though, we knew at some point grabner would come off his 45 goal pace and we need guys to step up. Unfortunately we're not getting any scoring from our D (6 goals total for our entire defense this year through 23 games). Just not going to cut it.

the Florida GM is the man who acquired McIlrath, now he is the coach too, maybe he'll play him

Gallant took one look at McIlrath that one game and was like no way dude

- jimbro83

Poor Bastard... they loaded up the team bus and left Gallant on the curb in Raleigh. Dude was looking for an cab to get home /to the airport.

I think it could be soon

he has a booming shot, 12 points in 19 games

- jimbro83

Was going to mention him, the unknown is two fold, who he replaces on D and who on the roster goes. It could be Jooris

That's about as classless as an organization can get. Fire him once you get back home, not before the flight.

should be Clendening. If AV is not going to play him up here (which is clear at this point) then why even have him as the 7th? Hes going to look like shyt when he finally gets a chance. Bring up Graves who will ACTUALLY push for that 6th spot. Hell even bring up Gilmour if you want a more offensive dman.

The D is taking on water big time. I expect management to realize that like they did with the lack of speed/PK this summer. WAKE THE FACK UP

I don't know about that. Dude did not look near NHL ready at camp. Great he is getting points in the AHL, and they might give him a shot, but I would temper expectations a bit that he could fight for that 6th spot.

I just think we need a #1 for the right side who could log good minutes. Probably not going to happen. Also agree with the other poster, offensive lines need to go back to how they were when they worked. Or at least 2 of the lines do.

I'm going to the game tomorrow so you can lock that one down as a guaranteed Rangers win. If it was Messier saying that you'd be breaking out the lube with excitement. Me, not so much. I know, he's a much better hockey player but I cry less and don't have any illegitimate kids... And I'd never leave you guys to go to Vancouver. Just saying.

Its not what I want to do, its what the team will actually do.. Its why I don't think they will get a number 1 for the right side.

We need RD to say they definitely won't go after a number 1, we will have our right side number 1 before the week is out.

i dont think they will part with the necessary forward parts to get a #1. which is exactly why they should see what Graves has.
